Judith, this dog is evil. I saw the owner again today when I walked down to collect the children and very nicely asked after the dog. He said that it's only been happening for a short while and when dogs walk by on a lead, well the dogs passing by would be on a lead, their house is right on the road. I know the dog has always been aggressive because it used to snarl at Domino through the fence joining our garden with theirs. Anyway apparently the dog had run out of the house a couple more times today and the owner had shut it back indoors, so I don't think they are going to do much about it and wouldn't be surprised to hear it's attacked again. Personally, I don't even think any private training will help, the dog has one aim and that's to kill.
What's worse they never walk the dog, they have virtually no garden and I think they also have Labrador there that used to live in the pub, I haven't seen that out at all. Of course I could be completely wrong about that. Rant over!
