Molland

The little devil, I think there's something about him not quite sure what but it's really odd, the dog's don't bother him even when he's attacking them, and Skitkit who is normally very territorial and does not like other cats (apart from Jack) is fine with him and licking him, in fact Molland often chases off our other two cats very odd, think there's something different about him.

Got to say Sid taught Ilka how to play with a barrel must get a video of him (will be very very noisy).
Great pics of Ringo he's got so much bigger.
Karen yes Poppy is lovely she would come in and sit on the sofa with you if she could she loves people but loves food more as you can see. Would put up a pic of Polo my grey but I've not really got any good photos of him hes awful to get a pic of he either has his eyes closed, has his jaw funny cos hes eating or is generally being awkward.

Molland Update

Cats

Love the pics Ali, Skitkit is looking down on me so took photos with Dads camera, sorry no dogs he thinks hes a bit above every one else.

Fighting like Cats and Dogs???

After the recent discussions on here about how Munsterlanders get on with Cats, I saw these two cuddle up next to me on the sofa, (Iwas working on the PC honest!) and thought I should post these pictures, it's Summer and Tinker.

I am loving the blog

All the pictures, chat, advice and getting know everyone we are all different and from all over World, (Tracie in Aus) and we have one BIG thing in common, Our Munster's.

Huge congratulations to our Ceilidh on gaining her Bronze award, fantastic, what a clever girl, Elspeth she is definately ready for Birmingham, if she can do that she will be fine at the show they are meant to be statues they are Munsterlanders!!!!!!!

Karen and Maggie, I would think she has really badly bruised the bone, and although the bating is good to get infections out, if it isn't a bite and it is a bruised toe instead the bathing wont help the swelling, maybe if she can put up with it a light bag of peas on the toe, (Obviously a very small bag of peas!) But the cold will reduce the swelling better than bathing, maybe there is a small fracture see what the vet thinks on Tuesday. As for her knocking it, it's always the same, if you have a sore finger that's the one you keep on knocking, they call it sods law I think!

Karen and Domino, your right about the cats, they do just suddenly become friends or they just agree to keep their distant from each other, but the cats are always the boss!

Elle, I do remember taking things to Stuart and Weare Gifford wasn't it, I can't believe how quickly time is passing, Lauren, Judith's daughter and her youngest, has just has her 17th birthday and her driving lessons have begun, I am giving up driving now for a while by the way Lou!! ;-) but I remember her at 6 years old, my James is a pram and Judith's James was brilliant with him, now Judith's kids are driving and mine is texting girls! yep time moves on.

Cats and Dogs

My advice would be not to worry too much, we have 9 cats and it's easy for us as the dogs are born into a household of cats. Let the cat find it's own safe haven, it will no doubt climb up out the way of the puppy. If the puppy gets rough or sits and barks at the cat a little shake of the scruff of the neck and a loud no, he will soon learn to either ignore or be gentle with your cat.
Most cats and dogs end up best of friends, Diva has one of our cats follow her everywhere and even tries to suckle of her!
