Have a go Day - Logi's daughter Maier

Happy First Birthday to all Tahlulla's puppies - the months have flown by! All the puppies have matured into fine looking dogs.

Apologies for not writing more frequently - computer glitches mainly! We went to the "have a go day" and had a wonderful time. Maier thoroughily enjoyed herself - she'd never seen so many munsters in one place! She wanted to say Hi and play with them all - consequently she wasn't really paying attention in the first lesson - tracking and the water retrieve. Tracking was okay but the minute she got her feet into the water she wouldn't come out! Totally ignored the dummy and went off for a swim - one of the younger 6 month old puppies kindly got the dummy back! She was better with the hunting and was overjoyed to discover the partridge hidden in the grass! We picked up loads of tips and advice and the session on training techniques was very good indeed. We have put a few of the tips into practice with good results. It was really good to be able to pick the brains of long standing munster owners and trainers - thank you very much Lynn, Christine and Wendy. It was also great to see Maier's grandma and uncle - who also turned out to be the grandad of the other puppies in our group! We would definitely recommend the have a go day as we all enjoyed ourselves and Maier absolutely loved playing with the other Munsters.

Maier (Fulaluv Annalise)

Maier has mastered the Munster way of sitting!!

Maier has thoroughily enjoyed her first snow and has been playing out with Max and his friends. We had a decent amount of snow and loads more arrived on Tuesday which was great for Max as he, Maier and his friend went sledging yesterday - what fantastic fun! The snow was knee deep in places and Maier wore herself out bouncing round, digging and chasing snowballs (and sledges!). Its raining now so the snow won't last, which is a shame. The little video was taken just outside our house.

Happy Christmas to everyone - hope you all enjoy yourselves - and hope the dogs love opening all their presents. Maier has already found hers so we have had to re-hide them!!
