Photos

please give us biscuits

Hi here are some photos I took this morning of Ilka and Sid (Ilka is now taller than Sid). Allot of people think she is a spaniel, not many people around here have herd of or seen a munsterlander before as people pretty much all have spaniels and labs as gun dogs (that I know of). People thought Sid was a lab when he was a puppy we thought he was a cocker, so we were only half right (we think his dad was a westie but that might not be right either) but he is still one of the best dogs on the shoot.

Manchester

HI everyone
Thanks Baby Dot,/ Georgia for the up date you are as cute as ever.
Judith, Logi, Summer, Fancy and Stella oh and me! are all of to Manchester Champ show tomorrow, it would be lovely to think it may be dry and a little less windy for the journey but I think that is just wish full thinking. It will be great to have Summer and Stella at a show together, Mother and Daughter, Daddy Strider is going to miss out for this one, but don't think he will mind too much

Thanks for the up dates please keep them coming.

Pictures of Logi wearing this years 'must have' accessory as you can see he doesn't mind wearing fur and the other is Andrew walking the gang He wouldn't want a deer to jump out at that point!!!!

A message from Georgia

Pics of me taken a week ago, I've grown since. I love riding in the car on the school run every morning and my short walks. I'm full of life and love my food, my toilet training is coming along well, Ilove cuddles and all my family even the cats but they're not so keen on me but I'm determined to win them over.
I started puppy school this week and although I was the youngest puppy there, none of them frightened me. I walked into the room and showed them I was the new kid on the block now. Mum says I'm very confident and nothing frightens me, she says I have Diva and Jiggy to thank for my wonderful nature. I will send some more pics in a few weeks. Love from Georgia (baby Dot).

Happy New Year

Ilka testing the dogs xmas present.

Hello some more photos of Ilka, Sid and Skitkit who is looking down his nose at Ilka (his favourite hobby is looking down his nose at every one). Ilka is being very good and she is now almost as tall as Sid I would put some slightly more recent photos on this post but the camera needs new batteries.
Happy New Year
From all of us.

Stella wins BP

Stella won best puppy at her very first show on the 31 Dec. She was a very good girl but a bit bouncy on the move, but then it was her first time out and they can find it a bit overwhelming but not our Stella.

She took everything in her stride and loved meeting all the dogs and people that where there,

Happy Christmas everyone!!!

Ceilidh has had a fantastic christmas, meeting all of the dogs in the family! Toby, Auntie Liz's black lab, is incredibly pleased to have a new play mate but we don't think that he was expecting to have all of his bones, chews and toys stollen from him! She would not eat them but she certainly did not think that Toby should have them as you can see. There are three other girls between Gregors sister and parents and they were all rather huffy about a new comer to the family. The eldest Kylie, 16yrs old, was straight up on the couch and Gemma the choccie lab sulked into her bed while Millie the border terrier was a snappy little beast (she was banished to bed after that incident!).
Then it was off up to my parents and their spanniel Paddy, who is the most neurotic dog I have ever met! He would not talk to anyone at all, refused to eat and if he was in the same room as Ceilidh he would sit in the corner feeling sorry for himself. As you can see from the picture with Gregor as a middle man he went in for a sniff when she was fast asleep. We are going to visit again for New Year by which point we can take them for a walk together, so fingers crossed that Paddy gives himself a shake and becomes at least a little more friendly.
I will update you all on how that meeting goes. It is great to see how the whole family are getting on! We all hope that you have had a great christmas and wish everyone a happy New Year.

Thank you to everyone for your lovely cards, photo's, e mails and blog posts, Happy Christmas to all of you 2 and 4 legged.
James has been quite ill the last 5 days and was in hospital at the weekend managing to get out on Christmas Eve, turned the corner now but still very weak. The important bit is we are all home, (Andrew has a day off!!!) the dogs opened thier pressies and we have all had a lovely restful day.
Glad all the new owners are having a fun if not exhausting time, all babies seem to be behaving, well for Munster's anyway!
Have a happy and healthy New Year, Good luck for 2008.

Seriously sweet - an update on Yeti

Yeti continues to be a total darling - she lives with 4 male dogs (all different breeds) and is the youngest so she is having to learn really fast who's who and what's what - our oldest dog (4 years) did his usual:' oh no, not another puppy' when we brought her home but actually Yeti is really turning him round - the other day, she was in his bed and he crawled in as well - he wasn't happy but he did not disappear upstairs which has been known. She has a voice to be sure but if she is getting a tad to vocal, you can clap your hands, call her name and she will sit and look up at you with her gorgeous blue eyes (that at times look green) and you melt!!
The close up photo of her is as she was coming up for breath after having a drink - she looks seriously sweet!!! Her play mate is Lobster, a Gordon setter, just a week older and needless to say they adore each other though are going to be very different I think!

Stanley Settles In!

Well, its been a week now since Stanley left the loving and capable hands of Ali and the Blitzan's! He's settled in beautifully. A few tears the first night (completely understandable), but since then, not a cry to be heard! My 4 boys just love him, and he's a great playmate to them all. I've never known such a calm pup, though he is quitely confident. He met with my Dads two Dogs and was straight in there! Very inquisitive! He's certainly no shrinking violet! The noise and chaos that my children create does'nt bother him at all. He either joins in, or sleeps through it! Stanley loves his food, and is eating fantastically well. All in all, he's thriving, and we're totally thrilled that he's blended in with the family and become a core part of life here. We just love him.

The last two to leave

The last two babies have gone, and boy is it quiet. My biggest problem is I used to use the puppies as the excuse not to do housework but now they've gone I will have to get the mop and bucket out!
Have a lovely Christmas everyone
