Morning

Took this video of Maggie hunting in one of her favourite walks where she likes to hunt in the tree field just before the meadows. When we got to the bottom of the lane Maggie was sniffing around the hedge on the right and a herd of deer lifted their head up opposite. Astonishingly Maggie didn't see them, so I distracted her attention until they disappeared - daft dog!

Edited to add: I missed your post Karen as it took so long to download video - lovely pic of Domino - we had no more snow this morning.

Thank you Ali and James, Charlotte will love to join the new blog. It's quite a learning curve for her, but she really enjoyed writing a message and loading up her picture today. She loves watching the videos and looking at all the puppy pictures.

thanks Elspeth - yes loki is a big lad now (looks even bigger next to mini-munster Kaia though). I've just read his critique from manchester champ and am really pleased with it, i think he has the basic structure but i need to work on his ring presence as he's a big stupid oaf at the moment!

The videos of both the blitzans and Loki and Kaia are great. I am so pleased it is not just Ceilidh that goes mad at the sight of snow! I cannot believe how big loki is getting Sarah, he really has grown fast!!!

Here's a Hudson update, We have had loads of snow here too and Charlie is off school. So spent lots of the day playing in the Garden with Hudson, I think he appreciated the snow balls more than i did!

Great videos too and can now watch the puppy one again - thanks. Loved the video of Blitzen dogs having fun in the snow - and so much of it - lucky dogs! Their tails were going so fast thought they may take off! We are forecast more snow tomorrow too, we didn't get much today but Maggie still loved it.

Had to Edit this post as the wrong video uploaded. Just thinking about wrapping up again to brave the wind and walk the dogs. Snow is not much deeper now than it was this morning but the wind is bitter cold!

Great video Elspeth and pic of Domino, crossing finger must have worked a little the snow was coming down quite heavily ealier but the sun is back out melting it again, the weather forecast said we would get allot tomorrow morning hope it's right, here are a pic from this morning and a couple from just a minute ago.

It's still snowing here and although we're not blocked in everything is slowing down. Our builders managed to get a supplier to let us have quarter of tank of oil and the plumbers are here now trying to bleed system so fingers crossed we will have heating soon.

Domino's snow angel

Here's Domino enjoying our little bit of snow, it looks nothing compared to some of you. It is snowing again now though. Domino loved it until she hurt her leg and limped back indoors.

Ali, this is edited to add that we crossed posts, but your pics are great, looks like the snow has the same effect on Maddie!!!! Crossed with you too Sophie, it is not deep at all here, still about an inch but it is snowing on and off so hopefull get some serious snow this afternoon, my fingers are crossed anyway!

I am suprised I managed to get any that were not blurred from speed or of her upside down!!! Video to come too. Great pics and videos, the action shot of Zydo is fantastic and Maggie is very curious about that bag!!!

Well we have a tiny little bit of snow have got a couple of pics that I'll put up later but hardly worth taking the photos really the dogs love it but we've not got much and now the sun is melting it :( hopfuly we will get some more tomorrow.

Yes, we got a bit, enough to stop the school bus running so no school here either. Marcus is trying to build a snowman with the little snow we have but it is snowing some more now.

Ali, it's looks lovely where you are. Unfortunately I had loads of work to do today, too bad I can't do any properly with the kids home.

Lovely video Ali, it is amazing just how quickly they grow! As for the snow, I have an inch if I am lucky here, but the snow has started again and is due to stay right through until wednesday I think so going to give it an hour to get a bit deeper before taking the dogs for their morning walk. Is it just Ceilidh and Paddy or does the snow have an effect on other dogs too, after being let out first thing they came back in crazy and Ceilidh had a mad 5 minutes of just tearing around and now they keep looking out the window and crying to get out. I swear they would roll and burrow in snow all day if they could.

Edited to add: Do you have any individual pics of the Truly litter? I know there are ones from the week they all left to their new homes but I was wondering about younger pics than that so I can get an idea of how they colour up etc.

It's absolutely beautiful out there but no way we can get out, so day off school for James, actually the school is closed and it's still snowing with a forecast of lots more to come!!

I love all of the puppies!!! Jesse's story on the daily dog is so heart warming. how people can treat dogs like that I will never know! It is great to hear he is in such a wonderful home now and growing stronger every day.

Ali, how they have grown already, if I could have a puppy(very wishful thinking), I really like Merlins coloring and Tetras. I like the blanket across their backs. Are any of the babies roan? You can tell by the pads of their feet...right?

7 year old's puppy picture

Charlotte has golden time at school on a Friday if she's been good all week and she drew this picture last Friday. I hadn't realised how much information she was taking in when I've told her about the puppies. I know I couldn't draw as well as this. The lovely bit is where Stripes has stripes all down his tail. Just had to share this with you all.
