The expectant parents!
Darcy and his beautiful Wife Maddie, puppies due in 5 weeks.
Back on line!
Hi all, we're finally back on line having totally given up with BT for our Internet, since April we have had no reliable Internet and despite many, many visits and calls to and from BT they still couldn't get it to work for more than 5 minutes. We've also been busy with Mudlarks and as of the 28th July we will have a new address so email me if you want our new details.
All the family are well and as you will see from the pictures the family is getting bigger, Poppy and Daisy are huge now! It's frantic here as three of the girls are in season, sadly we wont be able to be breed from Prima, but the good news is Darcy has just mated a gorgeous young lady who is already 4 weeks along, I will post a picture of Darcy and his new wife shortly.
Logi is beside himself with all these seasonal girls!!! He's wont have long to wait as his wife to be is due in season next month too so there should be lots of Blitzan sired puppies around in the next couple of months, three litters to be precise! Contact me as I will be running a puppy register for all the litters.

Bode's first camping trip
Maier and Bode have been camping in the Lake District - Keswick. Bode was very impressed with the camp site as it was almost on the lake - ideal for swimming! - and it had resident ducks which wandered around the tents and caravans during the day and rabbits which hopped around by night. Both dogs absolutely loved their weekend away and spend most of the time running and swimming! Bode was very well behaved in the tent and is already looking forward to the next trip which will be Scarborough in a few weeks.
Bode has been with us now for a few months and has settled in really well - it is difficult to imagine him not being around. He is such a happy lovable puppy - so adorable and very cuddly. Bode and Maier are good friends now and hate to be apart from each other - it is a joy to watch them running around the fields together and diving into the river.

Happy Birthday!
Many happy returns to the Summertime litter x My two are getting very frustrated, walkies cut down to one per day - I've broken my ankle, so relying on friends and family to exercise Louis and Bailey. To be fair to them, they are being very good about it, and have only knocked me off my crutches once!

Bode and Maier go to the seaside
Maier and Bode had a day trip to Formby Point this morning - they loved it! They explored the pine trees on the way to the beach, scrambled over the sand dunes and raced into the sea! Bode loved every minute - his tail did not stop wagging the whole time! He also discovered that sea water is not a good drink! They wore themselves out and slept the whole way home!

Maier & Bode
Maier and Bode have really settled down together now - there is never a dull moment in the house! Two energetic Munsters leaping and playing are a joy to watch and I find myself totally distracted most of the time and spend hours watching them! Bode is so gentle and loves a cuddle, he is a real softie. He really enjoys his time out along the canal and is obsessed by the geese, ducks and the heron who all live within striking distance! His recall is very good - unless the geese are flying past in which case he is convinced he can catch them! He is responding to the whistle very well indeed and it is a race now to see which one can come back to me first!
We took them both to the LMC NAT test day on Sunday and we all had a fantastic time. The weather was wonderful and there were loads of Munsters for them to meet in a variety of shapes and sizes. We picked up loads of advice and tips - thanks again to Wendy and Lynn for the advice and for arranging such a great day. Maier and Bode did very well passing most of the sections but falling down on the retrieve and the pointing. They both really enjoyed the tracking and the swimming!! Bode met his half brother - one of the boys from Darcy and Tolly's litter.
He has a cut on his paw at the moment, which we have been treating with Germoline new skin for a couple of days now, though it's still troubling him slightly. Any advice on best treatments would be greatly apreciated, the cut is towards the front of one of his middle toes.

Birthday time at the Blitzan Home
Zeta and Logi celebrated their 10th birthday!
Big celebrations and partying late into the night!
Zeta celebrated calmly lots of party food but not too many cocktails
Summer and Saren celebrated with a dip in the not so hot tub!
Maddie was on the strong stuff!
Darcy tried his paw at Moon walking!
Logi was legless, and really over did it!
The next morning Zeta started the day off with a jog, not showing her age at all
Where as Logi's hangover was plain to see......

The rest of the family refused to be photographed for fear they may, one day want to return to showing and it would do nothing for their reputations!!!!
Hope all the 'R' litter had a lovely 10th birthday!

Bode Meets the Relatives!
Maier's mum and sister, Narla and Dee Dee, came for a visit today. We had a great walk down to the meadow and river and all the dogs had a fabulous time. Bode LOVES swimming and chasing birds of ANY description. He had a wonderful time tearing round the field and swimming in the river. He enjoyed meeting Maier's family and running aound the field with Dee Dee. They all had a geat time playing fetch in the river and he is a very strong swimmer.
The day was wonderful, warm and sunny and all the dogs thoroughily enjoyed themselves (Maier and Bode have had a very sleepy relaxed evening!).
Thank you Sandra for coming down with your girls, we had a great time and must arrange another meeting soon.
Bode went to his first training class with me on Tuesday and was very well behaved. He enjoyed the training and meeting the other dogs there. He did as he was asked and impressed all who saw him! He is a star and totaly adorable!

Logan - Gentle Huntsman
We picked Logan - who is now known as Bode ( pronounced Bodie ) - up from Ali yesterday. He is now just over 13 months old and a lovely, gorgeous boy. He has a gentle temperament and is very well socialised. He has settled in well to his new home and is getting on well with his Auntie Maier (although there is only 5 months between them!), despite her initial misgivings !
We have been out and about with them and they have been having a great time running around in the meadow and swimming in the river. Bode is full of fun and absolutely loves running, chasing, running, chasing, running, etc! He is fascinated by birds of all shapes and sizes and is sure that one day he will be able to take off and catch them whilst he is flying! He has been extremely good with his recall and is eager to please, especially if it involves a treat!
He loves his cuddles and is a very affectionate boy. He has been asleep with Maier on the rug tonight totally worn out after his last walk. He was so sure he could catch the Heron!
Thanks for letting us give him his new home, he's a credit to his original owner, and we already all love him.

What a pretty girl
Despite being oh so muddy and rather stinky, it's amazing how all the dogs look stunning when the sun is shining, oh don't get me wrong they are stunning everyday but somehow when it's sunny you can even ignore the stench of fox poo, well that is until you get back indoors!!!!
