Ok ok ok I'm sorry........
It's not really my fault that I changed some settings and lost you off the blog, honest I didn't mean to do it!!!!!! ;-) Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!!!!

Hello Sarah with Jed and Sandra with Narla. Sorry have been a bit quiet here this last week. I took Mazy to a local Companion Show yesterday, didn't enter any classes as she is too young, but had a nice time watching and playing with some new friends.
It would be nice to meet up with you Sarah, we're about an hour from Exeter, will you bring Jed to Paignton Show? Mazy has lost nearly all her baby teeth, is chewing like mad so we're getting through a few more chews now. I'll get some new photos today now she's grown a few more inches.
Karen, lovely photos of Elsa swimming. Mazy hasn't had another swim since her accidental one in the rock pool, but I'm going to take the dogs up to a stream near us later, it will be deep enough for Mazy to swim but easy to get out. Also our vet has given us 2 free swims in their hydrotherapy pool so will take advantage of that and if she likes it, I may take her every so often for a swim in the pool.

"I thought the AHT bags were absolutely terrific Elle, you must have worked so hard to put them all together and to actually contact all the people who donated the super items" but I am afraid I cannot take all of the credit!!!! in fact - due to current circumstances - not much of it at all......................... so here are the unsung hero's.....
The idea was "launched" by Alan Hunter - even though he may not realise it he set us off on the track, by something he said in conversation!!! - then it was Clare, Ali and I, who talked about it and "developed it" ......... I started well, by sending out loads of e-mails, and here have to specifically mention one company, Pets love Scruffs, who sent us over 150 good quality items to start us off, and then of course the bags, from Royal Canin and the magazines from Dogs Monthly, the majority of the links are on http://owners.thelargemunsterlander.com/links.html (and the remainder will be added soon) by the time of my op., we already had a lot of the stuff - piled high in the garage, sort of had passed the point of no return - but I could not see the way forward - lol.
However, I digress!! after my op., (that went wrong lol) - all the stuff was in the garage, and I was trapped in the house, and I admit - a bit depressed!!! then Jo took over.......... she hauled everything into our conservatory, sorted it, bagged it, packed it, then re-packed the garage, packed the car on the day before, she planned and printed the quiz, she got donations from local people (to buy extra treats etc.,) and - she pulled it all together!!!
Sadly not all sold on the day, I think we had about 10 or so left - but we had already decided we could not get all of them to the show, (along with my "disability paraphernalia") so we took about 100 of them and plan on doing the AHT Gala in September with the rest, but we made £420 on the day, (which has already gone off to Cathryn and her department at the AHT).
When Jo gets a moment she might try and get a few set aside for postage, if anyone would like one? let us know ( munsterlandergroupie@hotmail.co.uk )and we will see what can be done, so there you have it folks - it wasn't me!!!

Ooops! I will get the hang of this blogging lark, I am a computer dunce! I'm Sarah from Devon and proud owner of Jed, previously known as Arnie. We own a small camp site near Exeter, Jed meets lots of people as we have the builders in as well and he gets lots of admiring comments about how handsome he is. We also have an eight year old English Springer who is far too soft with him and now has multiple pierced ears! He is yet to loose any teeth. I hope to be able to train him to work.
I have been reading with interest about everybody else and Ali has invited me to join in.

Hi all!
Hello from Ludo et al. Lovely pics of Jed. Good to see him on here. Love the moustache picture - moustaches always make me laugh, Andy and I play a game where if we ever meet anyone with a moustache we have a competition to get 'anyway we really must dash' into the conversation. Very childish but very funny! Sarah has Jed lost teeth yet. We found one of Ludo's today so we'll have to see if the tooth fairy visits tonight.
Welcome to Narla and Sandra too - she really is a beautiful girl and has done so well this year showing wise.
Lyn love your post about Ghillie - Ludo is just entering the 'I understand exactly what you're asking me to do but . . . I don't fancy it right now' phase.
Lovely to see the pics of Elsa swimming. We've managed to get Ludo to dip his toes in but he's certainly not been in fully. He's not learning from his cousin either who is a collie / GSD cross and cannot be kept out of the water.

Hi Sandra great to have you on the blog. I think Ghillie and Narla are related as he is a son of Alex...he is also a grandson of Logie, hence the kind invite from Ali to join the blog.
Still recovering from our holiday, 3 weeks in the Lake District with a munster, 4 collies and my hubbie means that I virtually need a holiday to get over the holiday !!!!
Really enjoyed the show with the opportunity to put some more faces to names. Tessa, I thought Evie was a proper little trooper.....your first show and she was so well behaved and you handled her so well. The weight will come you know, some Munsters are just much slower developing and some bitches really come on after their first season.
I thought the AHT bags were absolutely terrific Elle, you must have worked so hard to put them all together and to actually contact all the people who donated the super items..it was like Xmas come early going through it!!! I couldn't believe that there were still some unsold when we left. I hope that they all went in the end. I also won one of those fantastic hampers so had a great day...not withstanding the fact that Ghillie went home with 2 rosettes on merit and not just because he was the only one in the class!!!
Ali, I thought the news letter was terrific as usual and the address books given to members to commemorate the anniversary show were a wonderful surprise. I really don't know how you found the time to do so much with all that has happened lately with the moveing etc.
Looking forward to Kelso next week...not quite so much to the Nat Ap. Ghillie did come home from the Lake District swimming after I bought waders and tottered in with him...me who is terrified of water and can't swim. He is however feeling his adolescent importance and is really pushing hard. He has gone from biddable and instant return to complete delinquency, standing off, circling, running away etc.. all the things that me as an ex-obedience ticket handler should have under complete control...all gone out the window...methinks this is going to be a tough week for us both this week.
Will put up hol. piccies later when I have them sorted.

Welcome to the blog Sandra (& Narla). Lovely picture of Narla - I have actually looked at your website before so have seen all the pictures of her on there - she is beautiful. She certainly has done well at all the shows! Are you still planning to have a litter of pups from her? Anyway hope you enjoy the blog - I really enjoy being a part of it.
Great pictures of Elsa Karen - very impressed with her!!! Evie does not appear to have that love of water yet and prefers to paddle in the shallow - bit of a wimp I think.

Lovely to have you and the beautiful Narla on here. You gave me great advice once regarding Maggie's recall and using a ball. It worked very well and I'm still using it now!

I'm Sandra H and Ali has very kindly invited me to join the Blitzan blog as I am going to be having a Blitzan relative shortly fingers tightly crossed.
Some of you who show will already know Narla - Sh Ch Jaudas Bella and I, we also have working type Springer Spaniel ( Morgan) aged 9, a Shih Tzu ( Gizmo) aged 13 and a British Shorhair Cat aged 13.
previously I was also involved with horses along with my two daughters ( now grown up) for quite a number of years.
I am married to Dave who usually does most of the driving to shows, and also carries the show bag for me, which gets heavier and heavier because I keep shoving just in case items in it LOL.
I have also competed in Obedience and Agility and was a Dog trainer at a local club for a number of years, having completed a number of courses, nowadays I just do a bit of one to one training with problem dogs, and generally help with training advice to people who mainly contact me by word of mouth.

JIM & BRODIE...CONGRATULATIONS
CONGRATULATIONS to you on your fantastic performance with Brodie. I know that you have worked really hard with him and it is great to hear you are getting some rewards and acknowlegement for all the effort.
Frank & I are only just back from holiday after 3 weeks in Lake District. Great time and Ghillie managed to stay out of trouble and out of the vets for the whole time!!!
Hope to see you and Sharon and Brodie at next training day or at Nat Ap.
