I remember Domino getting to know our cat well. Pebbles (cat) was already about 6 years old and had never lived with a dog, so when Domino came along she had a bit of a shock. The cat would hide behind the photos on the sideboard while Domino would sit and bark at her. I can't remember how they learnt to get along, I think the cat must have took a swipe at Domino at some point. Now they will rub noses but that's as close as they get. Pebbles will sit by the back door and doesn't let Domino by without waving her paws, just to remind Domino that she's the boss, but we have no barking or hissing now.
A different story at the moment, we have my Mum's whippet to stay and Pebbles chooses to live and stay outside while the dog is here. I really think the whippet would eat the cat if she could catch her.
Well done to Ceilidh on passing the Bronze Certificate, that is a great achievement.
