Thanks v much got it working, will practise getting Ilka to lie on her back while I mess about with her feet, does this kit look any good http://www.pet-supermarket.co.uk/erol.html#36752X40832 (though I would need to get some different scissors those don't look at all round ended, or is it worth getting proper stuff, we have decent horse clippers but there a fair size.
I'm also starting to try and brush her teeth (I am probably mad but oh well) so far it involves Ilka chewing the brush.
