I took Maggie on a different route today. One I don't go on very often as it gets very over grown as you can see by one of the pictures. It is a foot path but not many people use it. Also it's not a circular walk and so I have to turn back half way which I hate doing. But there is a lovely wooded copse with a flowing stream running through it. Very pretty - not sure Maggie appreciated it though )lol. Coming back I had to plough through a rape field. I put her on the lead on the way but on the way back she went ahead after a deer. I walked up the side and kept calling her name only to come face to face with a full size deer, which was as shocked to see me as me it! After standing and looking at me for a bit it decided to plough through the hedge, when I looked where it had gone I couldn't believe how it had managed to get through. Anyway as I stood there still astonished at what had happened Maggie appeared - looking worn out. I put her on the lead until I got through the rape and into the wheat field. She was so hot when we got back to our field she nearly went into the bath - but not quite. Closest she has got though. In the end though she decided her water bowl was a safer bet!
Some lovely pictures of Ringo and Stig Rosie.
Hope Zeta is doing ok Ali!
