Ann, I was interested in what you said about Mathilde always being a little loose after having added minced meat etc. Zydo is the same. The only thing I've managed to add without dire effects is tuna (in oil). I feed him Laughing Dog but, like you, was concerned that he seemed very "slim" - he's very active, bright eyed, into everything but still on the lean side! Ali kindly suggested Field & Trial muesli mix to try and beef him up a bit. Although I thought I was being careful I must have introduced too much too quickly and he and his tum soon separated and he had to have some kaolin just to thicken things up a bit. He actually lost a little bit of weight and now weights 27kgs (13 months old). Anyway, we reverted back and things are improving. Once he's back to normal I will re-introduce the Field & Trial as he loved it but this time I will do it very slowly over a much longer period of time. Incidentally, were Mathilde and Zydo from the same litter (Summer/Strider June 2007)?
Does anyone know of good training classes in the Farnham area (that's about 15 mins from Guildford). Our last class wasn't quite hitting the mark so any suggestions would be appreciated.
