Ali very kindly invited me to join the blog site so here's a brief introduction. I have one munsterlander, a bitch named Cassie (Tarkanya Hollys Honey) who is 16 mths and a male GSD, Louis who's 6 yrs old.
I'm 44, living in Bristol on the banks of the River Severn, great for the two dogs to go mud bathing! I'm just about to start Cassie on agility training, as I'm struggling to find any local trainers for Field Trails. Apart from basic training any other has been delayed as I've had back problems, already had one operation and waiting for the second.
Cassie is my first munsterlander, I had been "researching" for 18 mths before finally taking the plunge - I'm now sold on the breed and have just asked Ali to put me on the waiting list for a male at the end of this year/early next year.
Cassie very rarely gets to meet other munsters, so we would be interested in any "events" in the South West where she can romp with her own. I know that the scottish munster lot reguarly plan "munster days" but they are always too far to travel, especially with petrol the price it is at the moment. Does anyone have any plans for a southern affair?
