Congrats and well done to all on your show successes over the weekend. Ali, so sorry to hear that your babies have been struck down with the dreaded kennel cough. There really are some nasty bugs about at the moment, I think that the combination of the warm muggy weather with the damp and rain has given all the bugs time and opportunity to thrive. When I was at the vets with Ghillie the other day, the phone there never stopped ringing with cases of diarrhoea, vomitting etc; the poor receptionist was tearing her hair out.
I think...touch wood and cross everything...... that Ghillie has turned the corner and we finally seem to have some control over his tummy problems. Probably fatal to say that as he could be off again by tomorrow. I have got some tree bark powder Ali, and have started mixing that in with his food. I can only try to get some weight back on him now, he is so thin and off course the steroids are making him desperately thirsty and ravenous...not that he isn't always ravenous but I am just going to have to be careful now not to overfeed him and start everything off again.
