Ceilidh has had a fantastic christmas, meeting all of the dogs in the family! Toby, Auntie Liz's black lab, is incredibly pleased to have a new play mate but we don't think that he was expecting to have all of his bones, chews and toys stollen from him! She would not eat them but she certainly did not think that Toby should have them as you can see. There are three other girls between Gregors sister and parents and they were all rather huffy about a new comer to the family. The eldest Kylie, 16yrs old, was straight up on the couch and Gemma the choccie lab sulked into her bed while Millie the border terrier was a snappy little beast (she was banished to bed after that incident!).Then it was off up to my parents and their spanniel Paddy, who is the most neurotic dog I have ever met! He would not talk to anyone at all, refused to eat and if he was in the same room as Ceilidh he would sit in the corner feeling sorry for himself. As you can see from the picture with Gregor as a middle man he went in for a sniff when she was fast asleep. We are going to visit again for New Year by which point we can take them for a walk together, so fingers crossed that Paddy gives himself a shake and becomes at least a little more friendly.
