Happy Christmas from the Blitzans

Happy Christmas from everyone at Mudlarks Farm
Christmas eve at Mudlarks Farm

We hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and a great New year, we haven't sent cards or news letters this year, my address book was lost in the fire so new addresses would be useful! Instead we have donated to text Santa, thinking of you all, have fun from us all.

By the way if anyone else is having trouble logging in or posting please email blitzanmunsters@yahoo.co.uk and I will help if I can.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM JUDITH TONY AND FAMILY

Wednesday 21 December 2011

For some reason I haven't been able to post anything on here for a while, but finally I can again :)
We went on a family holiday recently with the 2 doggies, they had a wonderful time. They have never slept so much with all the walking we did. Here are a few pictures of the dogs (there wasn't a good one of Coco off the lead as she was often a dot in the distance chasing birds!!)

Here is one of Coco jumping in the lake and nearly taking James with her!!

Thought this one of cheeky Coco would amuse everyone, ever the cheeky monkey stole the toast off the kitchen worksurface that was too burnt to eat. If only she was had thought about it and eaten it in the kitchen instead of coming to show us what she had found.......

And finally, the dogs would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas.....

Needing a home urgently

Hi all, I am in need of a forever home for a 4 year old bitch, she is a beautiful dark girl who is very cuddly and loving but does not get on with another bitch she lives with. Sad story as she is really loved but since spaying this girl cannot live with along side another bitch in the family who is a little bit older. It seems there is a trigger which sets off the girls but it's impossible to sort it as the trigger is a thing that can happen out of the blue.
This girl needs a home with another male, and a home where she can just be loved and not put under any sort of pressure such a showing. The most affectionate of girls we need a special home for this lady.

If anyone can give this girl the home she needs and deserves then please email me - blitzanmunsters@yahoo.co.uk     Thanks for reading. I will try and get some clearer pictures over the weekend.

Logi's son's!

What a handsome bunch the Four Brothers, I would love any of them but Merlin, (the top pic ) is still my favourite! Jackie is doing so well with her first litter, bless Nell, the very proud Mum she is feeding them so well they aren't bothered with porridge! Contact me if your interested in a puppy as Jackie still has a couple available and there is another blooming Mum due very soon.

Logi's beautiful daughters

Aren't these baby girls just the cutest, I can just smell the puppy smell too, ooo I'm so tempted to add to my already large family!!! Having two of Logi's daughter's, (Summer and Prima) plus his granddaughter I know just how wonderful they are and will be when they grow up. They all look like they will colour up and be quite dark as they have sooty toes already, all except for Olive who may be lighter with her pinky toes showing, although she will probably not be any lighter then her Aunty Tetra.
Photo's of the boys will follow.......

Hello

Thought that we better introduce ourselves as new members of the blog!

We are currently owned by two beautiful munsters girls and an adorable toller. Trio is a grand daughter of the lovely Logi, and Maddie is hopefully going to produce another lovely litter of munster babies. This time by the handsome Darcy! Still very much early days but we have our fingers crossed!

Currently feeling rather broody over the lovely pics of Nell and Logi's babies, they are beautiful and Ali you should be so proud of this fantastic boy.

We live in West Wales (Pembrokeshire) and take part in most dog activities! Jack of all trades, but showing the true versatility of the breed. We show, compete in agility, junior handling (not all of us!) and have been known to grace the obedience ring and gundog scurry.

Logi and Nells beautiful babies

This little one is my favourite so far, Merlin, isn't he just the cutest, going to be quite dark and had his Daddy's head, makes me so broody!!

Doesn't Nell look so content and happy, and in such lovely condition, they move today into their new location, all brand new tiles such lucky puppies, they are being thoroughly spoilt and loved to bits.

Happy birthday Domino

Karen, Domino looks so well for her age, these golden oldies of ours are doing well aren't they!

Nell went on to have 9 puppies in the end, all are doing very well and Nell is being the perfect Mother, she has 5 girls and 4 boys and I can't wait to see them. Makes me laugh now as when Logi's semen was stored for AI the Vet said he was firing on all four cylinders which is rare for a boy of his age, he has now go on to prove it once again. Bless him!

Enjoy the sunshine if you have it, my lot are except they have of course found the mud as well!

Congratulations Nell and Logi!!

What lovely news after the awful news about your fire Ali. Thank goodness James was brave and saved himself and the animals from harm. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know. Thinking of you all.

Hope to pictures of these puppies soon and hope they are all well. Really excited now as we're using Logi with Mazy in the Spring.

It's Domino's 11th birthday today but she sure doesn't look it, shame she hasn't been able to use her new bed yet, Mazy is snoring on it!
Ali, you are very welcome to gate crash on Penny and me, must sort out our next day with Peter but we have been out for a lovely walk around Stourhead and plan to make it a regular get together inbetween training.

Thank you & Daddy Logi does it again!

Thank you Peter that's very kind of you and to be honest it feels worse today than it did yesterday as we take stock on what we have actually lost. I still feel very lucky that we didn't lose more than we did and that no one was hurt or worse. Sorry the blog has been playing up for you, not sure why but I do intend on updating and revamping so maybe that will help?

Some happy news amidst the carnage Jackie and her gorgeous bitch Nell have had puppies, 8 was the last count, 4 girls and 4 boys, Logi is a very proud Dad again. Jackie is beside herself with excitement and Nell is being a tremendous Mum. It's funny as someone else has used Logi and already been told I wouldn't of used him, Why was the question and of course no answer, well he started his career as Top dog and was Top sire last year yet gain, with Sh Ch and Ch as progeny, he must be doing something right, plus lets not forget his temperament is second to none. HUU clear, good hips and clear eyes, why not? Funny how these people never actually answer.
At the end of the day with what's happened it doesn't really matter I am just so proud to think my nearly 11 year old boy is still thought so highly of, and he's mine all mine, I just love him and all of my family to bits!
Thanks again to those who have been in touch and Peter we really need a catch up, I was contemplating gate crashing with Karen and Penny.
Ali, thats an awful thing to have happened. Glad that James and the dogs are OK. My thoughts are with you, let me know if you need anything.
Peter
( I hope this goes through in the new settings, as my `publish' button hasn't been working for some time with the old one!)

James my Hero

I feel I have to come here to say a huge thank you and well done to James who saved our home and our dogs, Yesterday he was home alone when he spotted a fire, the tumble dryer caught fire, he rang me and shouted "Help me we're on fire" and at the exact same time I got a front tyre blow out, so Andrew and I were helpless and stuck on the side of the road, for some odd reason my new car has no spare tyre so I had to wait for the RAC, meanwhile I called the Fire brigade and Police, James got the dogs out and to safety although Tetra bolted in fear. I asked the Police if they could pick Andrew or I up so we could get to James, we were about half an hour away, they wouldn't help us but did go around to check on James, three fire engines turned up and managed to put the fire out and all that time James kept the dogs safe and directed everyone to where it all was.
When we finally got back home, James and the dogs, Cats and farm animals were all safe, we still have a roof over our heads but we have lost all our appliances, dishwasher, which we can live without, our washing machine, tumble dryer, two freezers, fridge, our generator so we have no power, all our clothes except what we were wearing, all my show gear, dog beds, collars leads, rubber backed dirt trappers, grooming gear as well as some of our treasured personal belongings. It's all awful but I am just so thankful that no one was hurt or worse.
James really was the hero of the day, so calm and in control, I'm very proud of him, oh and Tetra was brought back home safe and sound by a golfer from the club opposite.

Found Bosco

Just had some very good news, Bosco was found on the same day some 6 hours after he got separated form Sue.
As you can imagine Sue is relieved to say the least. I have heard of this happening with all sorts of Gundogs recently it must be a good year for game, who knows, just glad to know Bosco is safe and well.
I had a similar experience some 6 or 7 years ago at Salisbury dog show where Zeta swam across the river and wouldn't come back, Zeta didn't go off through the fields though she decided to hop back into the river and swim off into the City with Andrew running along side her shouting!! They were only gone for 15 mins though and I was in a bad enough state, couldn't imagine 6 hours, touching wood and everything else I am very pleased to say it's not happened since, but it could, it could happen to anyone of us. Anyway all's well that ends well.

Well some photo's of my babies!

The beautiful and very cuddly Diva

Hunting in our long grass Summer.

Lined up, Logi, Diva, Zeta and Summer!

My boy Logi who is due to be a Daddy again next Wednesday, not bad for a boy who is nearly 11 years old!
