Welcome Cat & Mat

Hi, I'm Lindsey (Lins), I'm getting Rudolph - now Bailey, from Diva's litter. Minnie is so sweet, I'm sure your cats will love her!
Tess - Evie and Murphy look adorable, it's incredible how much they change isn't it? Cassie's colouring and coat is still developing and she just turned two!

Photos of Evie

Photos of Evie (Raycris Perfect Picture) and my handsome boy Murphy. Looking back at these pictures it has hit me just how quick they grow and how much the colouring changes. Evie is very dark now.
Welcome to Cat and Matt - minnie/jumble looks very cute. Looking forward to seeing all these pups grow up.
Sarah -thanks for the email address -will be in touch soon.

Another new one

Hello,
We are new to the blog. My name is Catriona and I have a six year old called Matthew. We are going to have a blitzan Munsterlander. We are having Minnie and have renamed her Jumble. We had 2 lovely springer spaniels but unfortunately they passed away last year, so we are so excited to be getting Jumble. She will fill a big space in our lives.
We have a small holding in derbyshire with several other animals including 2 cats who are missing their doggie friends. So no doubt they will be happy again soon.
Matt and I visited Jumble last weekend and it was so hard to tear ourselves away from the puppies. They are all so cute!!
Tessa - my email is sjames86@gmail.com, we can arrange a walk sometime :)

Friday 27 February 2009

P.S.

Sorry Sarah in Birmingham I missed you out- would love to meet up for a walk some time. We must arrange it soon.

Thank you everyone

Thank you to you all for making me so welcome. I think I am going to enjoy being a part of the blog. It is so nice to hear others experiences and also great that so many of our dogs seem to be related.
I have been admiring Diva's pups over the past few weeks - they all look beautiful and Diva really is a stunner. Very exciting for all those going to get a Diva pup -how many days left??
Mandy- your litter of pups look lovely too. I spoke to Jo their breeder last year when we were finding out more about the breed. She sounded really nice on the phone and was very helpful - lovely part of the country where they live too (I grew up around there). Regarding the crate - we used one for the first few weeks but it soon became apparent that Evie wanted to be snuggled up under Murphys front leg for the night so we ditched the cage however it has made toilet training harder as she still does wees and poos at night where as Freddie her brother is now dry at night ( sounds like children doesn't it). Very useful for giving your other dog a break in those first few weeks though.
Lyn- Ghillie looks lovely and sounds like he has similar traits to Evie. She too is a great pick pocket especially when tissues are concerned and is expert at diving in the fridge whenever I open the door. Our Flat Coat has always been a food thief so we are pretty used to that - good job as Evie is forever counter surfing and jumping up at the table. Great isn't it but don't we just love them!!
Tor - sorry to hear that you lost your flat coat last year. We lost our other flat coat boy Jack last year too and I miss him dearly. He died of cancer aged 6 which made the blow even harder as he went in his prime and way too soon - not a day goes by with out wishing he was by my side again. New life in the form of a puppy does help the grieving and I see Jacks spirit and love for life living on in Evie. Enjoy your Diva pup -he will fill your heart again.
Judith - lovely to hear that you have Nan and Aunt - would love to hear about them and see some pics (will put some of Evies up when I sort it all out)
To everyone else thank you for the welcome.

Our latest baby

This is one of the puppy's we are keeping, this little madam is Jamies girl, Tetra, and boy is she like her Mum, a little girl with a big attitude.......

Welcome Tessa

Hi Tessa, I'm Lindsey, but call me "Lins". I have a Tarkanya bitch at the moment, 2 yrs old, Cassie, and also an 8 yr old German Shepherd, male called Louis. I'm also having one of Diva's pups, a male but not sure which one yet, should know soon.......Nice to have you join us!

Ilka as a pup with Sid.
Love the all puppy photos, Mandy the pups in the litter do look big and lovely let us know which one your having when you find out. Crates, we did what Karen wrote and Ilka loves going in it, in the evening when shes put her self to bed you've got a job getting her out of it.
Great photos Joanne.
Hi Tessa great to have another new member looking forward to seeing pics of Evie, I like flat coats too a lady in our village (north Devon) has two flatcoats and they are soo gentle.

Hello Tessa

I'm Karen and have one Munsterlander called Domino, she is 8, then we are having Mazy, one of Diva's puppies very soon. Evie sounds lovely, would love to see some photos. Sorry for the short post, not much time this morning.

HI NEWBIES NICE TO MEET YOU!!!

Hi Tessa and Mandy, welcome to the blog. It is really great to have more new folks to exchange ideas, info, laughs and cries with.
Tessa, looking forward to seeing piccies of Evie, I need to get some new ones up of Ghillie but the weather never seems right to haul around my heavy camera lately. I think 'handful' is a 'slight' understatement when describing these pups. Ghillie runs rings around my 4 collies...and me!!!! He is a consumate thief...picks my pockets without me realising it...can't carry poo bags (empty ones) around anymore or tissues etc as I look round and they are shredded on the floor. No surface is safe...as he has grown we have cleared, moved and raised...all to no avail..he always finds something. Yesterday it was a carton of bay leaves liberally strewn around the lounge...and later my brand new glasses case fortunately without the £400 glasses in them!!! He is the greediest dog I have ever had and scavenges anything and everything he can get his teeth into.
He is also the cleverest, most loving and entertaining dog I have had in years. He is an absolute joy to take out on his own and I never tire of watching him track and hunt. He is seriously hard work and a major challenge. This is where I start to get boring and everybody sighs and says 'here we go again....'.
Mandy...at least this gives you some idea of what is coming and to all you 'eternal' owners who just may have forgotten what it was like to have a munster pup...(I certainly had)!!!! Despite all, he is an absolute joy and I am so glad he is mine. Huggzzzz all Lindsey.

Thursday 26 February 2009

Hi Tessa!

Hello I'm Tor, down in Devon, we had a flatcoat girl up until last year.  She was soo gentle and loving, they're a lovely breed.  Now we're  looking forward to having one of Diva's beautiful boys and we can't wait!  It'll be great to have so many puppy owners on here swapping stories and all the experienced guys on here for stories and advice!

Hello Tessa

Can't wait to see pictures of Evie!! I know Lindsay who has Ghillie but due to one thing or another have not yet managed to meet him but we are hoping to meet in a few weeks time. He looks and sounds like a real sweetie so looking forward to hearing more about Evie. Ceilidh mouths too when you go back into the room to show you that she has stayed and been good and that she is glad you are back. I love how these munsters seem to pass down the personality traits.

Hello Tessa

Hi I am Mandy and also new to the blog, everybody has been lovely and very helpful since I joined few days ago. I get my first Munster boy pup (Ali's Logi is also Grandad to mine) on 15th of March getting more and more excited, I already have a Springer Spaniel Misty, looking forward to seeing pictures of Evie.

Big thank you to you all for advice on dog crates, been and bought one and thank you for making me feel so welcome to the blog.

Hi Tessa

I am Judith and i own Eva's mum and sister, so nan and aunty to your pup Evie, cant wait to see pictures of our grand daughter.
Logi is a great character and i love him too, so does his wife (ex) and his daughter.

Welcome

SO good to have you join us, Tessa and Mandy Evie and pup yet to be named!!!! I have to sort my babies out so need to get on so a quick post, but had to say Tessa, Logi is renowned for leading by the hand/sleeve, he takes my hand EVERY night to help me up the stairs and lead me to bed, so gentle, and when James gets in form school if he is late Logi grabs his sleeve and frog marches him over to me and makes him sit on my lap!!!! Judith will tell you all about it as he loves his Aunty too!!!
I wonder what other traits will appear with Evie? and of course Mandy's puppy, watch this space.

Hi Tessa

Welcome to the blog. Looking forward to seeing pictures of Evie (lovely name by the way). I have one Munster at the moment called Maggie. She is two years old. We are having one of Diva's pups - Laila in about 3 weeks and am getting very excited about having a puppy again. Will you show Evie? If her brother Ghillie is anything to go by I bet she's gorgeous.

We had plenty of problems with re-call when hunting, but she has got a lot better. It's an ongoing thing though and persistence pays off in the end.

welcome

welcome to the blog Tessa. Evie sounds adorable and i can't wait to see a photo of her, i be she is a beautiful girl. I have 2 munsters, the youngest of which is only 8 1/2 months so i have no long been through munster puppyhood too (great isnt it!!).
I live in Birmingham so if you ever fancy meeting up for a walk we probably arent too far from you.

New to blog

Hi everyone. My name is Tessa and I am new to the blog. I have been following the blog daily for a couple of months and am looking forward to being a part of it and getting to know you all better. We got our first Munster in December from Christine Ogle of Raycris (one of Eva's pups and Granddaughter to Ali's Logi). Our girl is called Evie and she is very pretty (will put up some photos shortly). She is quite a character and at only 5 months old has masses and masses of energy - our 6 year old Flat Coat Murphy has given up trying to keep up with her.
We are really pleased with our new addition and she has fitted in lovely - quite a handful though. In a later blog I will be asking for any training tips anyone may have especially when it comes to the deafness that Evie seems to have when she picks up a scent!!!!
Ali informs me that Ghillie's owner is on the blog (Ghillie is Evie's brother) so looking forward to following his development. My good friend Win has got Evie's other brother (Freddie) so will post some piccies of him too.
As for naughty pup antics - Evie has completely devastated my veggie patch and has worked her way through most of my cabbage and broccolli. Have given up on it for the time being - will have to put up a higher fence in the spring.
I live with my Husband Tony and our two children - Millie aged 4 and Finn aged 18 months in Warwickshire. Evie is lovely with the children although one word of warning for new pup owners - munsters are real mouthers much more so than my Flat Coated Retrievers ever were. They also like to parade you around the house holding on to your sleeve!!!
Look forward to being a part of the blog.

Welcome Maggie

My name is Joanne and I live in British Columbia, Canada. I have 2 Munsters and a Springer Spaniel also. My husband was in England on business and surprised me with Duke the Black and white 5 years ago, he is sired by "Blitzan, Logi. Shortly after we sent for Duchess the dark one, and Ali bless her heart put her on a plane for Canada. Elly May is the Springer, she is 6 years old. I know you will enjoy your Munster as much as I do, I find them to be very entertaining and quirkey, and you must not let up on their training as they are very smart, and will push your patience and outsmart you! I crate trained all my puppies and found it very helpful, and to this day it is still set up and Duchess and Elly are usually in it for peace and quiet, they are never locked it it now, unless there is a medical reason and even then, they don't mind, because it is like their safe spot!

I look forward to your stories Maggie.

Joanne

Using a crate

If I remember correctly and I'm sure Ali or Judith will put me right if need be, to get your puppy to like it's crate you need to put it's food in there to begin with and give him treats to eat in there with the door open to get him used to going inside. Then if he falls asleep somewhere else, put him in the crate so he wakes up in there. Make it a positive experience so the puppy sees the crate as somewhere nice to go and will want to use it as a safe den. Don't use it to put puppy in as punishment for doing something wrong. When you go out or bed time, make sure puppy has been exercised and toileted so they are tired and leave them something to chew which is safe to leave them with.

That makes it sound easy, I bet it won't be when we come to getting Mazy in her crate.

Mandy, the puppies all look gorgeous, hope you find out which puppy you'll have soon.
Love the two pictures Elspeth how cute. I work part-time four hours a day and work is only minutes away from where I live, my eldest daughter is doing her A levels so she is only at school part-time as well. The pup when I go to work will be left in the dinning-kitchen as it is a very big room that is where Misty stays when I go to work. Misty has the run of down stairs when I am at home she does like to sneak up stairs as well as she prefers to sleep on human beds instead of her own. I think Misty will enjoy having him around as my Sister has just got a Cocker Spaniel Puppy they came to visit last week and all Misty wanted to do was play with her could not believe how gentle Misty was as Misty is a very big springer and my Sister's pup was so tiny pup was dangling off her ears and all Misty wanted to do was lick her clean.

Just found these two aswell, I love the black and white pick with my slipper, like I said... thief!!!
Do you work Mandy or are you at home during day? Also where is your new boy going to be sleeping?

Hi Elspeth I will hopefully find out from the breeder this weekend, the other family that is having the other boy like me is very happy with any of the three, must admit when I went and visited them two weeks ago was shocked at how big they were already, think it is because mum only had a small litter. I am going to try the crate for my pup but if he does not like it will have to have a re-think.
Mandy what a wonderfully cute lot they are all lined up like that, lovely big pups, just want to give them all a big squeeze!! Are you going to see them at the weekend to choose or are you finding out from the breeder?
I did not use a crate for Ceilidh because she didn't like it the first time she went in it, I should have persisted but being a first time owner and a huge softie I just couldn't stand the cries. Will be tougher next time though.
Karen, lovely baby Maggie pics, I think the photos make Ceilidh look slightly bigger than she actually was though I do think she was a bit bigger than Maggie at that age from looking at the pics.

Litter Picture

I have attached a picture of the litter of puppies that I am getting one from, I have not chosen my pup yet as one of them is going to a show home and they are finding it hard to pick which one as they are all so well put together. The first pup on the left is a girl and the breeder is keeping her the second one has been picked and the other three with the black faces one of them will be mine, the last three are very much alike and I am very happy to have any of them, ours will be a family pet but hoping to do a bit of showing or agility down the line, hopefully will find out at weekend which is mine cant wait!!

I love your photos Karen and Elspeth, how cute, I know when our puppy arrives we will be in for lots of fun and games!! It is a long time since we had a pup in the house but we are really looking forward to it.

I have been bought a crate, going to put it up at the weekend, also bought lots of toys although misty has pinched the cuddly teddy its now in her bed!! We still cant decide on a name so all the names we like are going to be put in a bag and we will then pull one out.
Love your photos Karen and Elspeth, I'll try and find some of Domino as a pup, although that was before we had a digital camera so will have to scan them in. Elspeth, I agree they're not all cute, play with their toys and sleep, I hope we are better prepared this time and know what to expect. It's got to be easier than raising two children like ours.

Mandy, I don;t think I replied to you about crates, we used one with Domino for 18 months, they are a safe place to put the puppy and we knew Domino couldn't be chewing the furniture or scratching doors while we were out. The same crate is out ready for Mazy when she comes home - Domino was sniffing it wondering if her sleeping arrangements were about to change.
Ceilidh was a big pup at 7 weeks - this was Maggie when she was almost 8 weeks the day we bought her home. She looks a lot smaller than Ceilidh! She grew fast though!
Posted by Picasa

At nearly a year and a half she still steals socks!!!

Just thought I would pop up some 7week old Ceildih pics, these were from the day after picking her up, please do not let these pics fool you new owners into thinking they are cute adoreble little babies who only play with their toys and are happy lying on the floor snoozing...believe me, nothing is sacred, all underwear will disappear, they will try to climb up on anything and will happily eat your trouser leg... anyone else got any other naughty pup things to add? more recent pics to come

Maggie is funny Karen, I can just picture the scene! I have never met another breed that nose you the way Munsterlanders do, has anyone else? Ceilidh does it when you get your jacket out to go for walks or when she knows you have a toy in your pocket.

Hi All

Took Maggie out at an ungodly hour this morning because I had to go out early. At the crack of dawn Maggie was darting about all over the place while I bleary eyed trudged along behind. I was nearing the wood when I noticed she wasn't around, looked up to see a white dot chasing a herd of deer towards the wood - where is my whistle when I need it! By the time I find it she has vanished. So suddenly feeling wide awake I whistled while running in that general direction. Out of breath I stopped and looked into the haze of morning and felt a nose nudge me from behind - she'd come back - but where from? How did she get behind me - I've no idea. She came back though so big relief.

By two thirty this afternoon she was looking at me again for her number two walk which usually doesn't take place until later - so think I've put her body clock out. Think we will have an early night tonight)lol
Puppies are looking great, I think Ilka did have a very similar amout of spots as Laila when at 4 weeks, think thats when we went up to see Ilka.

Thanks again everyone

Thank you all for be so help full and thank you Ali for letting me join your blog and I love your puppy pictures, when I get pups pedigree will fill you in more only had a quick look at at. Think I am going to borrow my friends crate and see how I go with it. My pup is ready to collect at 8 weeks, I am collecting my pup at 9 weeks old at it is a 3 to 4 hour drive away and we are in that area on the 14th as going to watch a football match with partner and staying over night and then picking pup up on the 15th and then make journey home with him. I am considering showing think I may come and watch a few first get the hang of it, I would also down the line like to try agility as that is something I have always wanted to do.

Hi Mandy

Welcome to the blog. I live in Suffolk with 2 Munsterlanders, Bentley who is 6 and Mathilde who is a Blitzan from Summer's litter and she is 21 months old. I used to have a springer spaniel called Wren when I first had Bentley and she was like a mum to him.

As regards crate, I'm a great fan of them but you must make sure you don't treat the crate as a punishment, it should be their safe place. Even though Wren wasn't crate trained she used to get in Bentley's when he wasn't in there to get away from him. Crates help with toilet training, and contains the mess if there are accidents and also gives the adult dog a break from a playful puppy.

I'm also having one of the Eternal puppies, a boy this time. I was thinking of Oscar for a name at some stage. I see you are getting your boy when he is 9 weeks old, is that because you are going on holiday or do you have builders in or something?

Anyway, good luck. Hope to hear from you to see how he is getting on.

To Crate or not To Crate

Hi Mandy, I crated Maggie for the first few weeks, mainly because at the time we had an older dog and at night I wanted to make sure Maggie didn't hassle her. Once I knew they were getting on well I took it away. I will crate the new pup too - it will be handy when she is very young and I have to take Maggie out for a walk to leave her knowing she is secure. Night time is different now as Maggie sleeps in our bedroom and the new pup will too. As I'm going to be with them all night I'm not sure whether to crate the pup or not - I'm going to play it by ear I think. I definitely think they are worth having though especially has you already have a dog, it will be useful if the older one needs some peace. As for size I'm not sure. I'm borrowing one from my mother, which is probably not big enough for a full size Munster but will be fine for the first month. I think if you look at websites for crates it usually gives you an idea of the size you need.

Hi Mandy

Great to have a new member on here, love your springer and there are so many puppies on the blog and now another to add it will be great seeing photos of them as they get older, do you have any plans for your puppy are you going to show or work him or anything or just family pet? And we used a cage for Ilka (and still do at night as we've got no bedrooms doors yet so she'd wake everyone up in the morning)

Ilka says thanks Elspeth.

Advice needed on crate for pup

Is it wise to use a cage/crate for the puppy I have noticed a lot of people use them these days, never had one for Misty although we did have lots of chewed furniture. If I were to get one what time size would you recommed for a munster? I am going on a big shopping hunt today to buy lots of things for the puppy, I am sure Misty will get some treats as well!! Hi Elspeth yes Misty and Holly are joined at the hip, Holly is really looking forward to getting the puppy as she wants to get involved the training and come to the puppy classes so she can have a go too. She has been practising on Misty for the last few weeks bless her.

Monday 23 February 2009

Hello Mandy

great to have another new member on the blog. Misty is adoreable, I take it from the picture that she and Holly have a great relationship? I have one munsterlander from Divas last litter so she is now 16 months old (Ilkas sister), would have loved to have another but circumstances don't allow it.

Sadly I have not managed to figure out my phone to computer thing for the pics but will try again tomorrow. Sophie, Ilka is looking wonderful in the pics.

My Springer Misty

Here is a picture of my Springer Misty with my Daughter Holly, when I get updated picture of pup will put it on, hope the picture uploads. You will all have to let me know which puppies from Diva's litter you are having can then look at there pictures on the blog.

Hi Mandy

Welcome to the blog. I'm another one having a pup from Diva's litter, I'm having a male, I already have one little madame (Cassie) so I'm hoping he will put her in her place (some hope!). I also have a German Shepherd called Louis - an excellent name. Look foward to seeing your pictures of your Springer and of course the pup when you get him home.

Thank you everyone

Big thank you for making me feel most welcome. I am from Yorkshire, I am getting a boy munster pup he is from a litter of five 1 girl and 4 boys, he will be 9 weeks old when we collect him on 15th March which seems like forever away, as for names still thinking, we like, Louis, Oscar, Charlie and Logan, will try attach a picture when I work out how to do it. I have never had a boy pup before always had girls, so it will be nice having a little man around the house. I have started saving newspapers!! its been a long time since we had a puppy in the house and the kids are so excited as well as me of course. Love the Blitzan pups on the blog they are so cute.

Hello Mandy

Welcome here, I'm another one who will be bringing one of Ali's puppies home around the same time as you are getting yours. We are having a bitch and she will be called Mazy. We already have an 8 year old Munsterlander called Domino, she was on the photo blog a couple of days ago. Would love to hear where you're from.

There some lovely photos on here the last couple of days, I love the one of Prima having a lie in especially.

Hi Mandy

Hi Mandy - welcome to the blog.  We too will welcome lots of advice when we take home our puppy about the same time as you.  Whereabouts in the country are you?

Hi Mandy

Welcome to the blog. You're in the right place - a few of us are having new pups about the same time so we will be able to compare notes. I have got one already - Maggie is two and am bringing home Laila on 16th March. Great breed and you will have lots of fun. What are you calling your pup? Boy or girl? Ask away with questions, plenty of people on here that will be able to help. Tell us a bit more about yourself - like what part of the country you come from.

Edited to add: Sophie that's a lovely picture of Ilka.

Hi I am Mandy and new to the blog

Hi, I am Mandy, I get my first Munsterlander Puppy on the 15th March (cant wait) he is related to the Blitzan line. I have always admired this breed and we decided the time is now right to get one, I went and visited the Munsterlander Puppy Co-ordinator Wendy and met her three girls and well what can I say we fell in love with them and Wendy was a really big help and she thought the breed would really suit what we were looking for in a dog. We have a Springer Spainel called Misty who is 10, so any advice or tips on Munster Pups would be a big help.
Elspeth, yes Sid's like Paddy and walks under Ilka too, love to see some more Ceilidh photos.

Thanks Karen yes I am looking forward to seeing how Laila grows up too and how dark she'll get.

One more photo form a couple of weeks ago.
Lovley pictures Ali - love the one of Prima cuddled up in a duvet.

Ilka too is looking great Sophie - I'm hoping Laila will be dark like her too. It will be nice to compare thier colouring.

Busy Monday here trying to get ahead of everything before puppy mania decends!
Lovely photos on here everyone, Sid is so cute Sophie, tiny compared to Ilka but so is Paddy compared to Ceilidh, he just walks right under her when he wants past!!! Had Ceilidh up at Lunan Bay yesterday morning (too early, was there by 8am) it is a beach only 20 minutes drive from me. Forgot my camera by now away to try and get the pics from my phone onto the computer so hopefully you will see some up here later on.
Joanne, do come over sometime, it would be great to meet you.

Couple of Photos

Not the greatest but thought I'd put a couple up anyway.
Love the photos of Ceilidh and Maggie and love the ones you put up Ali.
I'll put a few pics up later, went up to exmoor again but a different place this time, didn't get that many photos but got a load last time so.

Sunday 22 February 2009

Maddie enjoys a swim Logi gets wood for the fire!
Prima has a lie in.....

Now you can see why Button is so big!!!!

pups and schedules

Just back from a weekend of galavanting about including a trip to cuddle puppies.  Thank you Ali they are completely gorgeous!  Can't wait for more pics.
Judith I have to say I agree with you, it's a time consuming and exspensive thing being on the committee and yet a lot of the time all you get is petty people wanting to be nasty and pick fault. They go throught the newsletter with every care not to enjoy it but to find fault, they must have very sad and empty lives, they do look silly if it's on thier web site, but then they only do it to be trouble makers, it seems that some people are not happy just enjoying this wonderful breed, they are just trouble makers.

On to nicer subjects baby pics on the way!!!!!
Jo, you'll have to come and visit, you would be most welcome. I'll email you some photos from yesterday.

Judith, some people are nasty and thrive on it, there really is no need for that.

Must add

I have not put the post about the club show up to be awkward or nasty, it just why do people write things like that and make their selves look daft has i said the info has been on her website for weeks.
It just makes me mad when we all give up time, cost of fuel etc and some people give nothing but still moan

Jo

I wished you could have come, it would've been lovely to meet you - perhaps one day if you ever come over to little old England for a visit? At least you'll get to see lots of puppy pictures of them growing up.

Forgot to mention earlier - love the photos of Ceilidh in the snow - glad she is getting over her season.

Some people

Well been having a look around or surfing the web, this afternoon. Had a look at one website only to see they are knocking the LMC (info on website) and newsletter about the Champ show in June, all to do with dates and post codes, BUT the best thing is ALL THE INFO including the post code of the venue have been on this person's website for WEEKS. Why do people have a dig at some thing that people give their own personnel time and effort too ???

Yesterday it was lovely to all get together and we must do it again very soon

LUCKY GIRLS!

I WISH I COULD COME OVER AND CUDDLE PUPPIES! NOW I AM VERY ENVIOUS! You are very very lucky!

It is a lovely picture of Domino Karen. I've put Laila's crate up today too along with some new toys I've bought her, to keep them away from Maggie - Maggie is most intrigued!

Just seen the daily dog for yesterday. Thank you Ali, yes it is a very excited household here, the children are counting the days. Domino will be fine and will love the puppy, it'll be lovely to see Richard in the garden with Domino and pup following him round. She is wondering what the crate is for, think she's worried her sleeping arrangements are about to change.

Thank you

Ali, for a great day cuddling puppies. What a beautiful litter! Lovey to meet Karen, Lins and Judith for the first time and see Ali again. Maggie was a bit miffed with me last night being out all day but this morning I took her up to Shotover Country Park for a lovely walk and she is now playing with Lydia on the trampoline. All is forgiven.

Thank you Ali

for a lovely day cuddling puppies, dogs and cats.
What a great day I've had, Lins, Karen, Karen and Judith all down for the day to cuddle babies, and we have put the world to rights, Andrew and James vanished for some reason, and we sat and chilled, Thanks girls a lovely day.

Just a few pics from when there was snow, and one of her warming up on the couch. Getting back to her normal self now that it is near the end of her season, thank goodness.
