Advice needed on crate for pup

Is it wise to use a cage/crate for the puppy I have noticed a lot of people use them these days, never had one for Misty although we did have lots of chewed furniture. If I were to get one what time size would you recommed for a munster? I am going on a big shopping hunt today to buy lots of things for the puppy, I am sure Misty will get some treats as well!! Hi Elspeth yes Misty and Holly are joined at the hip, Holly is really looking forward to getting the puppy as she wants to get involved the training and come to the puppy classes so she can have a go too. She has been practising on Misty for the last few weeks bless her.
