Sandra, Gizmo sounds lovely, maybe a wee pic after he has visited the groomer?
The heat does get to Ceilidh and Paddy so I may be on holiday now but have been up walking them in the field (with long grass) between 6 and 7 am when the grass is damp and the sun has not got a temperature yet. They are spending most of the day inside snoozing and enjoying the tiled kitchen floor. Paddy is off his food but Ceilidh is wolfing it down at the moment. The Bernese next door are really suffering with their massive coats. Anyway, hope all dogs are well and not suffering too much in the heat, sorry to hear Elsa had a bit of heat stroke, that must have been very frightening for you and her!!!

Coping in the heat

Rosie, that's so sweet Ringo getting in the shower with your son! Your poor daughter in law. I gave birth to my first son in July during a very hot summer - it was so hard trying to keep us both cool - I can't remember which was worse being pregnant in the heat or looking after a baby)lol

Elsa had a bit of a heat stroke yesterday, my fault. The paddocks were cut yesterday and so in the afternoon I let the dogs in as they hadn't been in for a while and Elsa loved it and started chasing butterflies around the field. She had only been in there 10 mins when I noticed her tail went down and I thought she had been stung. When I called her over she started to run home and by the time I got there she was laying flat out on the kitchen floor panting heavily and looking quite ill. I immediately soaked her head in water and gave her some fresh water to drink - I tried to get her up so I could hose her down in the garden but she refused to move so instead I poured water on her in the kitchen and then fanned her down. It took her half an hour to recover. There is very little shade in the paddocks and the only water is a neighbours large pond which Maggie knows about but Elsa doesn't. Maggie cooled herself down in it yesterday. I will have to be careful with Elsa today.

Sandra, I'm sure Gismo feels a lot better even if he looks odd. I used to have a cavalier and she got over heated in this weather and I used to shave her too - she did look a site but felt much better.

Hot Dogs

Gizmo my elderly Shih Zue is really suffering with the heat at the moment, being a short faced breed, he does seem to suffer more than other breeds. He is due for a haircut as well, and his appointment isn't till Friday, the salon he goes to gets very busy, so I have to book him in after each time.
He has been really panting at night, so I have been putting him under the shower as well, and then just towelling him off, I have also had him lying on a damp towel. Over the weekend he was so hot that I just got the scissors out and chopped as much hair off as I could, not very stylish I am afraid, and the groomer will probably not be that pleased, but she can tidy him up on Friday, and in the meantime he is a lot more comfortable.
Not going to put a picture up of him, as his dignity would definitely be compromised, he is after all a Shih Zue and as they were bred to live in palaces, he does rather consider himself to be royalty, and certainly struts around like he is.
Good job he can't see himself in a mirror at the moment as he looks more like a badly Shawn sheep than a Prince !!! lol

Hi

Ali hope you are feeling much better today, put your feet up and watch the telly :).Ringo is really suffering in the heat off his food at times and generally fed up. This morning I was showering my disabled son he has a large wet room and left him under the cool water while I got his clothes ready. When I got back in the shower I found Ringo standing next to him enjoying a cooling shower as well :) I shall have to put him in again later. My poor daughter in law has less than three weeks until baby is due so we all excited about that as well although she could do with it being a bit cooler at night at least.
How is everyone keeping their dogs cool in this weather?

Monday 29 June 2009

Hope you feel better soon Ali - take it easy (if that is possible!!!).

Get well soon Ali!

So sorry to hear you are not well Ali, I hope you are back and in the comfort of your own home soon and feeling better. Big hugs, and licks from baby cakes.
Lovely pics everyone!!! Great news on Narla and Logi, they will be beautiful babies!

Sorry to hear your not well

Hope you are back home soon Ali, I bet all the dogs are missing you, I am sure they will give you an extra warm welcome on your return.

Not surprised your legs are aching today Karen, but a wonderful achievement and you can be very proud of yourself for the money raised for a worthy cause, very well done.

Love the pictures of the puppies and their toys, Narla came with a stuffed toy and had it for ages, but it eventually fell apart. As a puppy she also liked anything shiny, being black and white we thought she had a bit of Magpie in her, as she would steal kitchen utensils, pans, foil trays etc and take them down the garden and hide them under her favourite bush.
She has stopped doing it now, but she still likes to have a good scratch now and again up against the bush, she seems to really enjoy it. lol

Get Well Soon Ali

Hope the doctors let you out today!

Elsa still has her teddy too - it's in her bed upstairs and when Maggie chucks her out of her bed she curls up next to teddy instead)lol

Not suprised your legs ache Karen - glad they didn't see those deer!

Get well soon Ali

I'm looking after the Photo Blog for a couple of days until Ali feels better. Just updated it for today http://www.photos.thelargemunsterlander.com/ Love your photos by the river Karen and Jed with his teddy. Mazy still has her teddy she came home with, he has lost a few body parts but will last a while yet.

My legs ache today, quite a job walking the dogs this morning. We saw two baby deer in the field we were in, the dogs didn't see them thankfully because I don't think I could run today, wish I had the camera.

Ali

Just a quick post to say that Ali has been a bit poorly and went into hospital on Saturday night, She is very tired but ok and hoping to be home later today if Doctor says she can.

Sunday 28 June 2009

Well done Karen!!!!
Lovely pictures of Maggie and Elsa - looks like they had a great time. I took Murphy and Evie to the river this morning and tried to get Evie to swim to no avail.
I have got Wins Freddie (Evies brother) and her Flat Coat Mazy coming to stay for their holidays on Tuesday so will have 4 dogs for a fortnight. Hope it goes well as I am trying to persuade Tony that more dogs is a good idea so I will have to have a quiet word with them all to make sure they behave themselves and not put him off.
What a wonderful litter of pups you will have Sandra if all goes well with Narla and Logi.

Our walk by the river

Took the dogs to the river today to cool off. Elsa loved the water but didn't actually swim today. Instead she just got angry with Maggie for going in without her and mobbed her everytime she came out)lol The water here stays shallow for quite a way so I'm not sure whether it was because Elsa didn't want to go to far in that she didn't swim or that the swim at the resevoir has put her off. I hope its not the latter.

Well done Karen in the money you raised today. I have to say I am very impressed! I find running impossible in any weather but it's got to be a lot harder when it's so hot -
A BIG WELL DONE!

Race for Life

I did it in 40 minutes, it was hot but not too bad. Lovely route in the grounds of Sherborne Castle. There were 2500 ladies running, a lovely atmosphere and I raised £95 for Cancer Research.

Good Luck

Sorry this is a bit late, but hope the race went well Karen, and it was not too hot. Hopefully you will be able to give us all the details once you have recovered, must be a wonderful experience to take part in an event like that.

We were at Blackpool Show yesterday, and then I had to dash off to a wedding one of my daughter Vanessa's friends. Vanessa was a bridesmaid, and the bride is going to return the compliment when she gets married in Aug.
We had storms and flash floods last night, and Dave and I were on our way to the reception in Central Manchester when I took a tumble on the slippy pavements, so I am nursing a swollen ankle today.
I am hoping to get to Windsor Show this week, so if any of your are going please come over and say hi, then I will be able to put faces to some of the names on here. Dave is working away from home at the moment, so my younger daughter Jenny is coming with me.

As some of you will have seen on the Large Munsterlander site, Narla and Logi are to be mated on Narla's next season, so hopefully if Ali and Logi are at Windsor they can meet up and have their first date, hope they like each other, but don't think we will be able to arrange a candle lit dinner or violins for them though LOL.

Saturday 27 June 2009

Good Luck

Good luck for tomorrow Karen - let us know how it goes.

Very sweet picture of Jed with his teddy Sarah!

Race for Life

Thank you Ali, it's going to be hot tomorrow too, so hard going I expect, but I'm still looking forward to doing it. The atmosphere usually keeps us all going.
GOOD LUCK KAREN
for tomorrow and well done on doing the race for life, not sure how you run like you do but well done and good luck!!!!!

All Partied Out!

This was Jed at a barbeque last night.

As you can see Ali he still loves his teddy, although he has chewed off its tail and nose!

Friday 26 June 2009

Ali, if you go on to the British flyball association http://www.flyball.org.uk/ - they have a list of training classes in your area - that's how I found the one I do to.
Evie and Murphy are gorgeous. They seem to really be enjoying themselves in the sand. Looks beautiful there. Great for Maggie I hope she does well at flyball. Don't think Theo is the only one to not have a liking for balls, Duke just destroys them too, but refuses to fetch them. But he loves plastic water bottles and can remove a cap in a fraction of a second, what talent!
Joanne

Flyball training classes?

Me too John, it's not that my lot don't like a tennis ball, some of them love it, but just don't know of a class where I can go and train for it, if anyone knows of one in and around my area please let me know - thanks.

Thursday 25 June 2009

We're jealous of Maggie at Flyball. We'd love to take Theo but he has NO interest in balls (apart from destroying them). If it was Flyrabbit it would be different! Good luck with Maggie.

Tuesday 23 June 2009

Flyball

Last week I went to visit a flyball class to see if I liked it and tonight Maggie started her 8 week beginner course. She is quite the natural I think and is already running over the jumps picking up a ball that is next to the box and running back. They were all quite impressed with her I think and Maggie loved it. Quite a mixture of dogs there including a wirehaired Visla, Springer, 2 collies, standard poodle and an GSD cross. All lovely dogs and all ball crackers)lol Great fun. Just got in and was molested by Elsa who was slightly over excited to see us back!

Lovely pictures everyone - Ali, Diva and Darcy look very happy at Mudlarks. Loving the group photos too.
Domino doesn't like bridges like Theo, she walks so slowly and carefully across them. Love the photos. Dive and Darcy look very much at home on their own fields, Domino and Mazy would love it there too. I think Mazy was rather proud of her winning at the weekend, keeps us stocked up with treats anyway.

There are a couple of lovely photos on the blog http://www.photos.thelargemunsterlander.com/ I love todays and of course yesterday's pic of Mazy and Domino, they really are good friends now.
How proud does Mazy look sitting next to her prize, well done Mazy. How brave is Theo, you would not get me crossing the bridge (scared of heights!!) would have to walk through the water. Lovely pictures of Evie and Murphy playing in the sand, that is my next mission to take Oscar and Misty to the seaside. Love the flying ears of Darcy!!

Mother and son

Great pictures on here recently, Theo and the bridge is great, Evie is looking very pretty too.

All lovely photo's.

My few are of Diva and Darcy up at Mudlarks, whilst we were sorting fences and things.
John, lovely pictures of Theo bravely crossing that bridge - made me laugh you having to carry the red setter across after he failed to swim across)lol The barley fields sounds like heaven - we have footpaths across cropped fields too - last year they were all wheat or Barley and Maggie loved leaping across them but this year they are all beans and not fun at all.

Lovely pics of Evie Tessa - dogs look like they enjoyed that sand.

Monday 22 June 2009

p.s.

Sorry forgot to say how handsome Oscar is Mandy. You can certainly tell who his Dad is.

Well done Karen and Mazy - what a beautiful long haired dalmation you have!!!

Lovely picture of Domino and Mazy on dog of the day today.

Great pictures of Jed in the grass - they are such fun dogs.

Thought I would put up a few of Evie and Murphy (rather sandy ones).
Took Theo along a stretch of the Wye Valley Walk today. En route is a wire suspension bridge.

He doesn't seem very keenBut plucks up courage.
The other side : what a reliefMany years ago, this same bridge had a wire mesh floor - too sharp for a dog's paws. We had a red setter then. Rather than carry him, we thought it would be a good idea if he swam across. He got 3/4 of the way and turned back - so we then had to carry a sopping wet dog across!

Towards the end of today's walk we ended up in a field of barley (sown across the public path!). Lovely to see Theo jumping several feet in the air to clear it!
Thank you Karen. Funny thing was there was also a Dalmatian in the same class, not sure what she thought that was then! I didn't wait to see who came 1st actually, I was so pleased that Mazy even got a place, there were so many dogs they had to split the class into two groups. It was a lovely event actually at the country park in Yeovil.

Karen

I can't believe a judge thought Mazy was a dalmation! Congratulations on her prize - I would have given her first though!

Lovely pics everyone.

Sunday 21 June 2009

Lovely photos everyone, I would love another puppy too, but quite happy with Mazy for now. She won 2nd place at a novelty dog show today for Prettiest Bitch. Although in the first class we entered (Best Puppy), the judge thought Mazy was a Dalmatian. She's lost all of her baby teeth now, interesting that the puppies are all losing them at different times.

Joanne, off to add you to my Facebook.

Great pictures everyone, how cute is that little puppy if only I could have another, one day I will hopefully!!

Here are a few pictures taken today out walking and in the garden.

Joanne/Facebook

Joanne, I have invited someone called "Joanne Neumann" to be my friend, hope it's you - I could only go on the fact that the profile had an Andy Neumann on the list!
I've been keeping up with the entries on the blog, but not been posting myself as things are hectic here, my father is seriously ill in France and we're having a lot to sort out. But the pictures have been great.
Hurray! At last Jed is loosing his sharp needle teeth, found two loose ones and a gap.

Ali I would love to come and meet everyone at the Paignton show but the only showing I've done was with the family pet collie in most appealing eyes or something when I was about 12 years old! Do you all come down for the day or stay over? because we have plenty of room on the camp site and we are about three miles from the show ground.

Saturday 20 June 2009

Puppy!

Ali, oh how I wish I lived closer, I would give that little boy lots of love! I want him!
Good luck, Karen on the race for life. Good for you!
Tor, that is a familiar pose for my munters, always a stuffie in their mouths. Duchess runs around like mad when we come home not greeting us till she finds a stuffie to bring to us. Great Picture!
Is anyone on facebook? If so you can look me up and I will accept you as a friend.
Joanne Neumann network is Edmonton

Love the pictures

So many lovely pictures on here. Sarah I love the one of Jed in the grass and Joanne your three are gorgeous.

Can't believe Tetra caught a mole!

Ludo has just started woofling at the seagulls here. With a bit of luck it will keep them off our deck! His favourite is still his pheasant though.
Hello Joanne, great picture of the Heron, do they often sit up there waiting for you?

Glad you've got the hang of posting photos Sarah, those of Jed are great.

I have just updated the photo blog http://www.photos.thelargemunsterlander.com/ one of my favourite photos.

Will catch up here later, got my last long training run before the Race for Life next Sunday.

Friday 19 June 2009

Shortage of Quail?

Looks like Tetra has a very soft mouth unlike Duke and Duchess and Elly May who have found a new game of chasing up mommy and daddy quail and then going on a frenzy for the new babies, before I can even stop them they have all gobbled down a couple each, (absolutely no chewing envolved), so I guess they too have soft mouths?!! ha ha, yeah right. I have to keep on the ball and get them under control for the next few weeks till the birds can fly to safety, after all they are not chicken nuggets, are they??

Sorry to hear about Tarka, hope is all well now! Great pictures everyone!

I'm posting a picture of another kind of bird that decided to land on my house, this is a blue Heron, he was waiting for me as I arrived home the other day.

and another picture of my kids,

Bye for now Joanne

Sorry

So sorry to hear about Leslie's loss, please will you pass on our sympathies to her, I do not know the lady, but it is so hard to lose a much loved friend, I know I have been through it myself a number of times now and it never gets any easier.

Tetra is certainly keeping you well topped up with presents Ali, it just shows what soft mouths these dogs have, to deposit the mole in your lap unscathed.

Some lovely pictures on here, great to see all the dogs following their natural instincts and having fun. It sounds like Evie has turned the corner now and her training is beginning to sink in so very well done, keep us updated with her progress.

We are all off up to Border Union tomorrow, so just a quick catch up as I have to go and make up the sandwiches, and pack the Show Bag. It has been raining heavily today on and off here in the North West, so I need to decide what to wear, think it will have to be something waterproof, as showers are predicted for Kelso to.
Talk about clever! I bet that was some shock when you found that in your hand bag! Especially when you are more used to things being taken from it! (The bag check after you have been out to see fi there is anything for them!)
Sarah the picture of Jeds head popping out from the clump of grass is brilliant! All pics are great that have been put up but I really love that one! Bit of a perfect timing one.

Super Mole Catcher

I can't believe Tetra caught that mole and bought it to you Ali! Can we borrow Tetra for a couple of weeks to get rid of the moles here - Frank would be delighted if Elsa got one)lol What a clever girl.

Sarah - great pictures of Jed - I never seem to have the camera at the right moment! Well done for getting those.

Diva may be half cat then after all!!!!

Sarah, great pictures!!! Obviously something in the genes that makes them mousers, I've always said Diva has part Cat in her, now I know it!!!!!!

Jed' mousing adventure

Jed and his Uncle Merlin in the cut silage
"I'm going in"

"Where'd it go"

Thursday 18 June 2009

Tetra's latest present for me!!!

As you all know Tetra is always bring me in presents!!! Well today she excelled herself by bringing and depositing on my lap this very live and unhurt mole!!!!! Not great pictures but you

get the idea!!!!!!!
Sorry to hear about Josie - my thoughts are with the family .It leaves you feeling so empty. Glad to hear Tarka has recovered Ali - it must have been frightening for you. I just love the name of you new pad too - 'Mudlarks' has a great ring to it.
What a handsome pup - I'm sure someone will snap him up. What happened to the 18 month old bitch that was up for rehoming?
Evie has been so good on her walks lately and all her earlier behaviour seems to have stopped to the extent that yesterday she even returned to my whistle when a Roe deer popped out infront or her. That was the ultimate test and I was chuffed to bits with her. It reedemed her from her earler behaviour that day when she chewed up two of my new cushions in the kitchen -she can't leave anything alone if it is new.
Love the story of the mouse and all the animals Ali. Wouldn't life be dull without them!
Sorry to hear about Josie - my sympathies for Leslie and family. Never easy losing our dear companions.

Lovely picture of your girls lined up Ali. I was going to take a picture of Maggie and Elsa playing with friends they often meet in the field down the road but now it has sheep in that's not likely to happen.

The puppy looks gorgeous - I'm sure he won't have to wait long for a home!

Sympathies to Leslie and family

Tarka and 4 generations, Left to right, Holly, Zeta, Leah, Logi and Tarka.
Have done the photo for today, http://www.photos.thelargemunsterlander.com/

Will be starting the group theme tomorrow so anymore you have to send me please get them in quick - thank you.

Have heard from Leslie Burrows with some sad news, another of Tarka's daughters passed away aged 11 1/2 years old. Josie was a beautiful girl and much loved and adored by Leslie and all the family. My symapthies go out to Leslie and all the family, they leave such a gaping hole. It's particularly hard for me to hear just now as it's a year ago we lost Leah, her sister and Tarka has had a stroke. Thankfully she has recovered fully but it was very scary for her and me, she is now on medication to help with her circulation and she is back to her normal self, but still very worrying. I just hope she goes on for a while yet. I would love her to make it to Mudlarks Farm with us. Thank you for all the lovely messages from those who have already heard about Tarka, it really means a lot to us all.

This handsome, cheeky chappie is looking for a loving home. A friend who breeds has been let down and mucked around by someone who was going to have this little fella, but that is someone elses good fortune as he is now available to the 'right' home. Email me if you wish to know more. blitzanmunsters@yahoo.co.uk He is ready to go to his new home now.

Wednesday 17 June 2009

Lovely photo from Karen - very atmospheric. Also some great action shots lately on the photoblog.

I did laugh about the mouse in the handbag Ali!

Took the dogs down to one of my favourite fields today - only one around that's been cut and hasn't got crops growing and found they have put sheep in so I had to turn around and go a different way - dogs were very confused. I will take them in there soon on the lead just to give Elsa some experience of the sheep but didn't feel like the hassle today. In the end I went up to a wheat field and Elsa enjoyed jumping up and down in it. She flushed a couple of partridge while in there which I think surprised her - she stood still and I grabbed her collar and gave her a reward but when I let her go she headed off in the direction they had flown so I started running the other way and she came back to me. I should have put her on the lead thinking about it but didn't think she would go back.

More unlikely friendships

I've had this lovely photo sent in to me by Karen Saynor, Karen has Ekko, one of my favourite Munsters!!! Such a super working girl, and so pretty. Anyway I digress!! this is of Grouse and another unlikely friendship with a sheep. Thanks Karen.

Confused animals

Must get some photo's to back this up, but my cats, dogs and rabbits are a little confused. Diva who has just had her season, has started to mother the cat again, I caught the cat trying to feed off her twice yesterday. Wanda, one of the cats has decided to bring home 'presents' for the puppies, things like mice with the odd Bird thrown in, she brings them in and then calls the puppies, Tetra is usually the first to get there so she picks up the body and then gallops to me and presents me with the present. Living on a farm there is a never ending supply!!! Well yesterday she bombed but I didn't see why, I was doing a difficult task on a web page so just told her to steady up without taking much notice. When I went to the vets about an hour later, I put my hand into my bag to find a pen and ended up finding the present Tetra left me in there, a lovely dead Mouse!!!! I didn't know where to put myself!!!! I remember now my bag was on the floor by my feet when Tetra bombed in earlier. But that's not all, the cats have also caught rabbits in the past, and as James has two lop eared rabbits that he bred, I am always panicked when they dig out and escape. Well as I left the house yesterday I opened the front the door only to see Cosmo, asleep on the neighbours garden seat with the rabbits lying in the shade underneath, not only that Tyger was lying between the rabbits and washing one of them!!!!!!!
Definitely some species confusion going on don't you think. I am just relieved the dogs didn't spot the rabbits they would not of give them a chance.
Have done the photo blog, www.photos.thelargemunsterlander.com
Anyone with group photo's I would love them for next week please.

Tuesday 16 June 2009

Catch up

Lovely photos Elspeth of Ceilidh - she is looking really well.

Welcome Sarah and Jed - Jed is getting a big boy! I have Jed's sister Elsa. I'm not great with computers either - but you will soon get the hang of blogging! The campsite sounds a great place for Jed to meet lots of people. I know what you mean about the ears - Maggie suffers with Elsa hanging on then end of them too!

Great pictures of your dogs enjoying Mudlarks Ali - great name too - very appropriate)lol

Mandy, Oscar is looking a lot more grown up on the photos - losing his puppy looks. I wish Elsa would get her adult teeth - she still has most of her puppy ones. I expect Misty is grateful too!

Elsa is getting more and more confident on her walks now and is venturing further. We have bean fields everywhere here and she keeps disappearing. I find being very quiet makes her come out to see where I've gone)lol

I was on my way home today and one minute Maggie was with me and the next I heard a yipping in the distance and thought that sounds just like Maggie - looked down and she'd gone - that's the trouble with beans you can't see where they have gone. I had to whistle a few times but she came back fairly promptly. Only another 3 years for her to be the perfect angel then Sandra!

Monday 15 June 2009

Hello Sandra, Narla, Sarah and Jed!!!

Great to have you on here! Especially with such lovely pictures!

Karen, pictures especially for you...
Will catch up properly on wednesday, just had to have a quick peek before bed!
Sarah, that is the show, although now it's moved across to West point. You really should come and see us all there, you could enter Jed in Puppy dog and we can all go in together, why not?!? IF you didn't want to show him yourself I'm sure I could twist an arm or two!!!!! I will be in with Darcy, James is showing Ludo, maybe Judith would show Jed, but then again, Karen C and Karen A, and Kathy and Lins will be showing thier own so you could do it. I feel a party coming on!!!!
Hi everyone. Karen, is the Paignton show the one thats held at Crealy? If so I live about two minutes from there, but have never been. I weighed Jed this morning he is 27kg. I can't believe how fast and big he is growing. Its nine years since we last had a pup in the house, but so far so good....

Mandy, Jed is also not sure about water yet, I was in our large pond the other day with wadders on day weeding, he was desperate to come in but couldn't bring himself to take the plunge. Then our old spaniel (who does not like water, strange dog) got in and swam around me as if show him how to do it!!

Thanks Everyone

For the warm welcome, and Hi to Sarah.

I have been watching all the puppies on here growing up so fast !!!!!! they're just like mushrooms grow an inch overnight, or so it seems.

Hi Karen nice to hear from you again and glad the ball worked with the recall. I know I had quite a few scary times with Narla when she was going through the naughty adolescence stage, but luckily I had good friends who told me not to panic, and gave me a few tips.
And now she has me fully trained to her liking !!!

Narla is 5 now and a perfect angel ( most of the time) but she has definitely taught me a thing or two along the way.

Thanks all for the lovely comments, and I look forward to hearing more about all the Blitzan extended family on here.

Hello Sandra & Narla and Sarah & Jed

Welcome to the blog, I am sure you will enjoy been on here. I own Oscar he is just over 5 months old, he is related to the Blitzans, Logi is his Grandad, he is my first Munsterlander I also have a black and white Springer Spaniel called Misty she is 10 1/2 years old.

Love all the pictures, not been on for a few days so had a lot of catching up to do!! How brave is Elsa, Oscar will paddle in the water if it is shallow but has not had a swim yet, I will have to take him somewhere that is safe and see if he will venture in as Misty loves to swim so he might follow her in we will see. Ludo looks as lovely as even do like that little man. Ali, Logi looks like he has been up to mischief with the mud on his face, he is a very handsome man, is it Darcy with the flying ears?? Well done Brodie you must be very proud of him. Rosie, love Ringo he is a big boy at the side of your Springer!! (Sorry if missed anyone out)

Oscar now has all his adult teeth, which is better for Misty when they are playing which is now 24/7 as we have started to leave him out of his crate a lot more when we are not around and so far so good!! He has also now realised he is a boy (more so with Misty) when she is laid down he likes to stand over the top of her with a look on his face as if to say look what I can do so any advice would be a help please as Oscar is the first male dog I have owned always had girls before!!!!

Mudlarks Farm

Darcy finds something to interest him!! Grand old lady Tarka takes it easy, and why not!!!
Logi tried to deny digging but something gave him away!!!!

ready for take off with those flying ears!!!!

Darcy loves to sit and ponder!!!
Darcy, Logi and Tarka have been up to our Farmland today, we have a serious amount of fencing to get on with let alone the bottom meadow, which needs mowing and bailing, it's full of wild flowers up there too.
