I recieved an email message from a lady in the North of the UK, she wanted to warn us that there is a woman out there actively looking for a stud dog for her Munsterlander bitch, but NOT a Munsterlander, well not yet anyway, she is trying to find a flatcoat. This woman phoned a man who is on the NW Breed Committee for Flatcoats wanting to use one of his Stud boys, the only thing was it was a Munsterlander Bitch she wanted to use it on. She lives as near as we can tell from the phone number in the Blackburn/Chorley area of Grt Manchester/ Lancashire. She has phoned a few people. If you know anyone up North in any breed, warn them as she may move on from Faltcoats, her cover is that she wants to breed working dogs as her bitch is good at flushing, but when the Flat coat man ( who does work his dogs) questioned her she obviously knew nothing about the working side.

Such a shame, I wonder whether she even has a Munsterlander and not a cross??? But I don't think there is a need to start breeding Munsterlander Crossbreeds do you?? Anyway thanks for the info, and all Munsterlander Stud dog owners keep and ear open.
