Lovely Sunday walk with Talleulah and Tansy at The Seven Sisters. A short window of opportunity between this miserable rain. Neither were keen to take a swim in the sea, but who could blame them! Much more interested in chasing the seagulls. Bang goes my training!! Tansy starts her serious gundog training with Gilly Nichol on March 14th. She's at the stage where she could do with having more challenges presented to her. She seems, at the moment to be much steadier than Talleulah, who, incidentl, has just come into season. Any handsome suiters available Ali? Would be fun to repeat the success of the last litter.

Great photos Ali, I can't believe how much like his mum Bailey is. He's nothing like Darcy, but the spit of Diva - gorgeous, like all Blitzans!

Loving homes please

Two absolutely gorgeous boys need a new home.
Oridnarily I would go on about any problems they have but with these two boys there are none, they are just two very loving, very handsome boys. Sadly their owners are splitting up and neither one can have the boys. Now these boys are very well socialised as they have been going to doggy day care during the week and they get on with everyone, they do love each other but apparently would live apart as they just love everyone the same.

Logan is 1 year old, a real soppy softy.

Tyler is half brother to Logan and he is 3 1/2 years old, like his baby brother he too is soft and cuddly, to those who don't have experience of Munsterlanders as soft and cuddly as these two boys are they are Munsterlanders and act like adult Munsters which includes galloping off across the fields finding the muddiest stinkiest puddles and rolling, then galloping back to share their perfume with you! They can clear a coffee table with just a wag of a tail and despite their size they are sure that they are lap dogs!!!

Please contact me for further information and a chat about the two boys. This is the very tough part of breeding dogs, from time to time we all have to help our older puppies relocate to new families and as difficult as it is the dogs seem to cope better than we think they will. Both boys are Blitzans, Tyler is a Summer and Strider son and Logan is a Summer and Darcy son. These things happen and we just have to make it as easy for the boys as we can.

If only I had room but I think 11 Munsterlanders at the moment is just too many!!!!

So if you have room for one or both of the boys please email and I will happily chat it all through with you. Email is: blitzanmunsters@yahoo.co.uk

An update from the busy Blitzans!

Zeta sat there for ages, having a good long think! What a wet and muddy bunch, out in the field of course with their shadow, Tinker the Cat!!
Left to right:
Darcy - Prima - Tetra - Maddie - Tinker!
Zeta again, this time in the woods, she may be an old lady but she still enjoys life!
Summer, out of coat and now in season!!! Do you think she's been digging, look at her nose!
Diva on good form!
Bree and her tongue! She is so good on her recall. just a little too late applying the brakes sometimes!!
Well life is rather busy for the Blitzan family, not helped by the fact Summer and Bree are in season, Bree is on day 13 and turned hot on Monday, Logi is still perfectly fine with her too, how odd is it that he can mate a bitch on Monday and Tuesday and come home to another hot bitch which I've told him once to leave and he ignores her. Last night I was in histerics as Bree was fussing him and offering it on a plate, she ever started humping him and he just turned his head away into the corner of the room as if to say I can't see her, I called Bree off and he ran to me and jumped on my bed to hide! Is it because she's so young or because she's his off spring? Either way he's being brilliant, he was always the same with Summer too, whatever his reasons it makes life a lot easier, Darcy is being brilliant too, although I do keep him out the way if I can't keep my eyes on them 100%. Logi is now sleeping in a cage which he was quite relieved about, well we don't want to push it!!!
Half term week here and doing a lot, Andrew and James went paint balling yesterday, James came home having won a lifetime membership as he was Team Player of the day, he even won a load of paint balls as well. James was hit twice and has a large red round bruise on his back and one on his hand, Andrew's hands were hit a lot and are quite swollen, I'm glad I stayed home with the gang!!!! Planned a day catching up on the computer and ended up with a powercut from 9am until 4pm. bloody typical!!!
James is off Hawking and Falconing on Friday so pictures to follow of that.

Lastly can everyone who has booked a Prima puppy please call, I need to have a chat and have mislaid my booking book!!! (Actually I think Andrew borrowed it for work by mistake!).

Hope you and yours are well and Loudon gorgeous picture of Tallulah.

Not sure what more I can say since we spoke, but can't stop thinking of you and Jigs, thank you so much for letting him be Diva's first husband and what a wonderful litter they produced, he lives on in all his wonderful children and grandchildren.
He was a wonderful boy, he had a very happy life and was so loved, remember him with a smile, as he was such a happy boy. I will never forget him leaving Berrydown green! how many washes did it take to get him clean! I know your heart broken now but he couldn't of had a happier life.
So sorry to hear that Judith - thinking of you xxx

If it should be that I grow weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then you must do what must be done,
For this last battle cannot be won.

You will be sad, I understand.
Don't let your grief then stay your hand.
For this day, more than all the rest,
Your love for me must stand the test.

We've had so many happy years.
What is to come can hold no fears.
You'd not want me to suffer so;
The time has come -- please let me go.

Take me where my need they'll tend,
And please stay with me till the end.
Hold me firm and speak to me,
Until my eyes no longer see.

I know in time that you will see
The kindness that you did for me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I've been saved.

Please do not grieve -- it must be you
Who had this painful thing to do.
We've been so close, we two, these years;
Don't let your heart hold back its tears.

Hope you are all well. Not been on for ages (but do read) Where does the time go, 4 weeks until we head back to South Africa, for 3 weeks. Kids have booked hoildays from work so that they can look after all the dogs, snakes, geokos and lizards.
Tried to take some photos of all the Munsters sat together but Binks was having none of it and just kept diving in on them, love the look on their faces.... Ok who is he going to land on this time!!!Jiggy has had his 12th birthday and still steals custard slices off the work surface and opens the doors, I Keep telling him that at his age he must stop jumping around so much. But you just get that munster whatever look.
Anyway afew photo from when we had the snow back in November, hen Misty the puppy came to stay and took a shine to Jiggyand the one in the garden. It wont let me up load any more so will try again in abit
