Maier and Bode have really settled down together now - there is never a dull moment in the house! Two energetic Munsters leaping and playing are a joy to watch and I find myself totally distracted most of the time and spend hours watching them! Bode is so gentle and loves a cuddle, he is a real softie. He really enjoys his time out along the canal and is obsessed by the geese, ducks and the heron who all live within striking distance! His recall is very good - unless the geese are flying past in which case he is convinced he can catch them! He is responding to the whistle very well indeed and it is a race now to see which one can come back to me first!
We took them both to the LMC NAT test day on Sunday and we all had a fantastic time. The weather was wonderful and there were loads of Munsters for them to meet in a variety of shapes and sizes. We picked up loads of advice and tips - thanks again to Wendy and Lynn for the advice and for arranging such a great day. Maier and Bode did very well passing most of the sections but falling down on the retrieve and the pointing. They both really enjoyed the tracking and the swimming!! Bode met his half brother - one of the boys from Darcy and Tolly's litter.
He has a cut on his paw at the moment, which we have been treating with Germoline new skin for a couple of days now, though it's still troubling him slightly. Any advice on best treatments would be greatly apreciated, the cut is towards the front of one of his middle toes.
