Here come the girls!
There is a lot of shooting going on in Holton today and so this afternoon took dog for a play in the paddocks away from the shooting. It gets so noisy sometimes it sounds life fireworks going off. Luckily the dogs ignore it all. I had Tiesel, my sister's working lab as she is in India at the moment and Nellie as my mother is not too well with a tooth infection. The shooting near the wood has made all the pheasants come to our paddocks for safety (yesterday morning there was a huge group of them) and although they weren't there today Maggie could smell they had been and was running around with her nose to the ground most of the time oblivious to anything else. It's fun taking all four of them out. They are such a motley crew. There is Maggie who never stops running, Nellie who always has a nose in the ground pouncing on things, Tiesel who is happy just to bounce around wagging her tail and Tilly who is always just trotting calming behind.
