I took Maggie to dog training last night, the new class doesn't start until 8.30 so it was quite hard getting myself out on a cold night but really enjoyed it. It was much smaller than the other class I was in as only four of us, me with Maggie, my mum with Nellie and two chaps with boxer pups who had already got their Silver and one was only 10 months old! The first part was heal work to music which was a first for me and Maggie who was frightened of the boxers was awful. She did get used to them in the end though and started getting better. After that we did some training and I have to say I was very impressed with the boxers. We did a down stay and I can only do 2 mins and that is with me only five steps away but the two chaps did five mins and left the room! when it came to the retrieve though Maggie out-shined them all as this was one thing the boxers didn't do well and Maggie did perfectly. All in all a good night but very tiring.
