Welcome Back

Welcome back, Ali. Will keep all fingers & toes crossed that Diva has Gozzi's puppies. Lovely photos of him; he's such a smashing looking dog. The Oresund bridge is beautiful, isn't it - I'm assuming you went that way from the photo.

Well done to Brodie for his Bronze. How's Domino? It will be a real shame if they stop dog walkers in the New Forest - is that because some dogs have been out of control?

That was interesting about the elk, Joanne. Until recently, I hadn't realized that the Red Deer stags in Germany are huge in comparison to the Scottish/UK ones. The chap with the estate, on which we stayed in Scotland, was impressed with the Münsters as he said no one he takes stalking/shooting can shoot a deer cleanly (unlike him). In Sweden, I think one has to take a competency test before going elk/moose shooting. Do you have that in Canada, too, Joanne?

Ghillie is looking good as is Loki - loved the video. Also loved the video of Ilka & Molland. He's a great looking cat.

Glad your class went well, Karen, and that Maggie got used to the boxers. Bosco did a run-through of the Bronze yesterday and was OK. He broke his down stay (he sat up) the second time inside (not the first time outside), but the spaniel next to him kept breaking his (he's usually fine) and running around and I think Bosco got distracted. When Beecham took his Bronze the first time, his Setter friend got up and jumped on top of him, literally! There will be two groups taking the test as there are so many. Maggie & Bosco would have been together, Karen, with two Flatcoats and some other dogs!! Bosco is obsessed by the Flattie in his class (also in his test group), but hasn't met the other Flattie yet. Oh dear! He's capable of passing, but he is a bit over-enthusiastic about things now, but the trainer won't let dogs take the Bronze until they are 12 months, so I couldn't do it before. The examiner is someone with whom I've trained several times and she loves Münsters, but particularly Beecham as he was so calm & relaxed (& beautiful, of course) - that was before he got snapped at etc etc etc so many times.
