Gentle Puppy Lola

Hi Ali,
Lola is growing up to be a great big, friendly, confidant, huge overgrown puppy who loves everybody, knows everything that I tell her 'cos she's BRIGHT, but typical munsterlander style, only choses to obey if I'm close or if there's nothing else interesting to seek out!

We love her so much and Minden adores her, whenever they're parted, they search for each other when they come home, and then play really rough stuff on the grass.
We went to Cornwall in late July, Mins loved the sea as usual, but it was Lolly's first try - she found seagulls FANTASTIC !! but getting out of her depth was a bit scary !!

Question please--- Minden's coat is full, soft, wavy, glossy and thick. She hasn't moulted properly for a year or more. She is spayed. Her litter brother Bailey is identical to her, exactly the same marking, same gentle temperament, and is cut. He also has a thick soft curly coat.
Lola, at the moment has a smooth , but increasingly wavy coat, probably turning black like her Mum, but has fanatastic ticks ? on her legs , just like Logi, which I hope will stay.
Our keeper says that the only reason Minden's coat has thickened is because we've had her spayed ( as is Bailey ) and that Lola's coat will lose her flat smooth coat if we spay her.

Minden had a season and then we spayed her, for various reasons. Do you think that spaying a bitch has this much effect on their coats ? I know it does sometimes in spaniels, but I'd like to know more about Munsterlanders , if anybody has any info please ???
Many Thanks,
