Hi haven't posted for ages and was going to on Jed's birthday but have had computer problems. Just about back to normal now so belated happy birthday to Jed and his Eternal brothers and sisters.
This is a photo of Jed in the best seat in the house, the reclining swivel chair in front of the wood burner.

Woe betide anyone who sits in his seat, he becomes a 36kg lap dog!!! . . . . .
Hope that Summer and Diva are feeling a bit less sore now. I hate barbed wire, Jed has a big scar down the inside of one of his legs, Elva has a nick on the side of her tongue (that one bled alot!) and both of them are always getting a red tip to the end of their tail from when they run under the fences.

Happy birthday to all the Eternals
Sorry to be a day late we had a disaster here and spent the day at the vets with Summer and Diva. Out on a walk the girls were hunting a hedge row where they both got badly tangled in razor wire which had been discarded in a hedge. Diva's face and pastern was badly cut and Summer did some awful damage to her shoulder and under arm. Both have been stitched and put backed together, but both need some serious nursing, poor girls.
Happy thoughts and happy birthday to the gorgeous Eternal babies. 3 years old! Where does the time go?
When I think back the fact that I decided to jump in the car and go to Sweden; I still get butterflies, it was a huge undertaking and cost me quite a lot but it was worth every penny, such a special litter all the babies are in my opinion stunning and I know they are all adored by their families. What more could a breeder want? I'm so proud of them all and very proud of Mummy Diva on coping with the 6 day trek across Europe and producing such lovely babies.

I heard from Donna Black this morning, Maddie had 6 puppies last night, 3 dogs and 3 bitch's, all are nicely marked, , good weights and doing very well. Congratulations to Donna, Maddie and my Darcy!! Donna is a member of the blog herself so I'm sure she will post photo's as and when, I'm sure Donna is knackered after a night of no sleep.
These photo's are of Jodie and Darcy puppies.
I had these photo's from Trevor thins morning, he says his babies are growing well, putting on weight and that Jodie is being an excellent Mum. All these babies make me so broody!!

Baby pictures from Gill and Anna
I'm very proud to be sharing photo's of Logi's12 babies, Anna is doing them proud and Gill tells me they are gorgeous and sheis spoilt for choice, 7 girls to choose from, she says she could be tempted with one of the boys as they are lovely chunky boys and just her type! Well done Anna they are beautiful puppies.
I have to say that of all the things that people have said about my boy Logi, (those who know me will know he is my special and much loved boy) someone recently said to me they chose him as their stud dog as to them he is the perfect Munsterlander and that although there are lots of puppies around they still want to breed as who knows if Logi will be able to sire a litter in 6 months time. It's always so nice to know that my boy not only loved and admired by me but by others too!!! We all think our dogs are the best don't we!!!
I will be posting more puppy pictures of the next few days,

Congratulations Gill and Anna
Gill Patrick of the Ashlowrick Munsterlanders has been keeping me updated over the last 12 hours. Anna lily and Logi are very proud parents of a whopping 12 puppies, (not bad for an oldie!!!). 5 dogs and 7 bitch's. Gill says they are absolutely gorgeous. Anna had 9 naturally but suffered with inertia and needed a cesarean to have the last three. Can't wait for photo's but until they come here are pictures of the very proud parents.

Jodie and her gorgeous puppies
Thanks Trevor for sending the photo's over so quickly, much appreciated, aren't they a lovely bunch, Jodie looks so happy and proud, a little bit tired though bless her.
More babies
Darcy is a Daddy again! Trevor's bitch, (she is the one who missed last Feb) had 10 puppies last night, 5 bitch's and 5 dog's. 9 are a good size and one of the boys is a tiny 6 1/2 oz, Trevor has topped the little one up with milk already so if he is being given every chance. Thinking back I remember Zeb, (Blitzan Rendition) he was tiny, and look what a strapping lad he made, he was also the first to win a ticket out of that litter!!
Photo's will follow but poor Trevor needs to get some sleep first, Jodie took exactly 12 hours, the first was born at 4 last night and number 10 at 4am. I just said to Trevor are you going to get some sleep now, he replied with a resounding No! I can't leave Jodie, how lovely to know they have such care. Breeding is exhausting, stressful, frustrating, it can be heartbreaking. it costs a fortune but these gorgeous babies do make it worthwhile. It does make me smile though when people say things lie, wow you must of made a fortune with that litter!!!!! As Stud dog owner it's so much easier, I get to be involved without the aforementioned problems, I do of course worry about the puppies futures but it's not my place to say who has one and who doesn't, I help where ever I can but at the end of the day they are not my responsibility. I warn all breeders who use my boys about the risk of being left with puppies unsold, I explain the pit falls and virtually do my best to put people off, however if they go into breeding knowing the risks, pitfalls and hard work involved, if their bitch suits my boy and vice versa then I am OK for my boys to be used. I am only ever happy about them being used once the babies are safely born and the breeder steps up to the mark, both Jackie and Trevor have done so and I am very pleased they chose my boys.
I turned someone away just before Christmas, nothing personal I just felt they didn't have the time to put to rearing a litter, they expected me to sell all the puppies and I can't do that. I never got to see the bitch so that wasn't the issue.
Who's the Daddy!!!
No puppy pictures yet so photo's of Daddy Darcy instead!
Really excited to see more baby pictures and thanks for all the lovely emails about Logi's puppy photo's I posted earlier in the week.

Logi babies
How adorable are these babies, squidgy faces, long floppy ears and gorgeous puppy tongues! Oh if only I could, but no I musn't!!! Jackie has done a wonderful job with these babies, her first litter but boy she has done them well. One of the babies is going to live with Elaine and her big half brother Max, also a Logi baby. Only two babies left looking for families which I think as a new breeder and over Christmas it's not bad at all. Oh maybe I should.............
Andrew just read that and said he would kill me!!! I think the re build needs finishing first!
I spoke to Gill Patrick (Ashlowrick Munsterlanders) and she said that Anna lily is huge! In fact I think her words were, Bloody hell Ali, I thought with Logi being an old man he wouldn't be so fertile but Anna's massive!!! Those who know Gill will know that is a direct quote!! I've suggested we do a Diary for Anna and her babies, I once did it for one of my litters and I know people loved it so maybe it's something we can organise.
Peter, I love your pictures, like me though you didn't manage to get any of the lesser spotted Diva, such a rare sight on a walk, hard to spot as she is always so bloody far away!!!! It was a great day and I can't wait until we do it all again, maybe for my birthday at the end of the month?? (Any excuse to have some fun!). Oh and I should have my camera fixed by then so close up shots again and photos in focus! Think I'll bring the baby next time, she would love a trip to the pub!!!!!!

Jack (Talleuhah & Strider's son)
Thought it was about time I joined back in - have been reading the blog and looking at the fantastic pictures, now my life has settled down thought I would post a picture of Jack at the Christmas Fun Day of his Gun Dog Training Class.
I started his gun dog training last February and since then he has come on in leaps and bounds, he has moved into the senior class and his is being so good, everyone is always so complimentary about him, as he has so improved over the past year from being a big of a young tearaway to growning into such a great boy. He is so full of fun and he smiles all of the time, apart from when he knows that I have to go out without him.
I took him to a claypigeon shoot to see what he was like with the big gun (he was fine with the starting pistol which we have worked with for a while) he was obviously bred for it, he got excited and yippy for about a minute and then said OK, where are the birds, he was marking the clays, so I am now looking forward to taking him to real shoot hopefully in the next couple of weeks, just a friends local shoot so he will be forgiven whilst he learns the ropes.
I also took him to a swimming day last summer and he won the best improver, cannot keep him out of any water now, it wasn't that he didn't like water, it's just that we don't have clean water lakes around us, not deep enough to swim in so he hadn't really had to swim away from me. He was great at retrieving his and everyone elses dummies as long as he didn't have to to too far from his mummy, but in the end he was swimming so strongly and confidently, and just loves it and doesn't mind swimming away from me now. We only have canals around us and I really don't like him swimming in them as they are so filthy.
I hope you enjoy the pictures of my boy.

Thank you Ali and Peter for posting your photos. We had a great time, lovely dogs and company. I did have the advantage of having sausage in my pocket for Mazy, Louis liked it a lot too! It was lovely to see the dogs all hunting together and the chips at the pub were good too. Must do the same again very soon. I can't wait for Mazy/Logi pups!

Picked up another dog before we left the carpark
Mine weren't particulary good, I was talking too much and watching the dogs inter reactions, Munsters hunting a wood as a pack, in my element, sad person that I am! On the whole the dogs were well behaved, its the owners that were a handful!! The labrador in the carpark had it right, all the fun was with the black and white ( + GSD) pack, whistle what whistle?!
All in all a good day out.

Didn't we have a lovely time......
the day we went to Marlborough!!!!
Karen, Peter, Lins, Pete, Andrew, Mazy, Logi, Zeta, Diva, Bailey, Louis and I all met for a lovely muddy, woodland walk. Glorious weather and great company, I had a wonderful time, and the dogs were in heaven, only Louis was sensible enough not to get plastered in mud!
A lot of muddy bottoms as they all race off!
The best behaved? Mazy was such a good girl, great recalls and perfect sits, she showed her mother up, and I'm not saying if I mean Diva or Karen!!!! Well we did end up at the pub!
Hunting heaven!
Spot Logi....
Waiting for the slow coach..... Me!!!!
A very in tune pair, I can't wait for Mazy to have puppies with Logi, they are going to be gorgeous.
Unfortunately my camera was damaged in the fire so the photo's are the greatest or the sharpest but they do show what a lovely day we all had, Peter will have better pictures I'm sure. Thanks guys for a fun day out.
