Ashlowrick Chunky Monkeys!

Gills gorgeous chunky monkeys, and boy one is very difficult for me to resist.....

The boy below is so very much like my old boy Solo, some of you may remember my big white chunky lad with a very handsome head and expression, well I think this little man is going to be very like his Uncle Solo. (Blitzan Ringleader). I sadly lost Solo far too young, he was only 8 years old, he also hated showing but as a working boy he was terrific, this little lad has the same face and little white smudge.

All Gill's puppies are lovely, typical Logi barrels! After all they need to have the substance and these most definitely seem to have substance!

This little one looks like his Dad and Mum, I can see both Anna and Logi in him. Some lucky puppy owners out there me thinks!

If you go down to the woods today......

you were likely to be mobbed by a gang of Munsters!!!

A glorious spring day here, sunny, mild and dry and we had a fabulous time playing in the woods!!!
Not everyone could make it, Peter had a better offer so I'm told!!!! Penny and Stuart were also busy so Karen, Lins, Charlotte, Andrew and I all had fun on our own, I have to say the dogs were so well behaved it was a lovely relaxing stroll in the sunshine.
Mazy has to be pregnant, she was quiet, cuddly and precious, not getting involved in the jumping contest at all, can't wait!
A perfect way to spend a Sunday, oh and the pub was nice too, it was so warm we took all the dogs in and filled up the beer garden!
Thanks guys for a lovely day.

All say cheese! Louis, hid he most definitely didn't want to be seen with the riff raff! Spot the GSD!
Left to right, (the dogs, no one wants to know about the people!!!)
Zeta, Logi, Prima, Bree, Bailey, Louis and Mazy
High five for Bailey!

Picnic time and laugh a bit more time!

The start of the jumping Contest, Bree takes off!

Logi joins in and even Lins has a go!!!

Now Bailey's turn!

Mazy stays out of the way, hasn't she filled out and she looks so well, blooming in fact!

Louis hides from the riff raff!

Bailey on the scent

Puppy update and playtime!

Play time, poor Bree get's stuck with Jamies trainer, (urgh!) out of all the toys in the toy box she choose to pinch his shoe, typical Munster!!!!
Racing and chasing!
Ah guess who got caught!!! Bree now has the squeaky kong
Beautiful Summer watches on!

Some pictures to share with everyone and an update on the Blitzan sired babies.

Firstly I would just like to point out that as both my boys have been busy fathering lots of puppies, ( 14 in total for Darcy and a whopping 20 for the old boy, Logi), I am putting off breeding from Tetra for the foreseeable future, at the end of the day her litter sister Mazy is being bred from so I'm sure there is no rush for more puppies from us, even though I have a waiting list for Tetra's babies, I'm sorry but Tetra puppies are a while off so if you don't want to wait I am more than happy to help you find an alternative puppy, after all Mazy is Tetra's litter sister and Darcy is litter brother. I understand people are very excited to have some of our fresh Swedish bloodlines and to have blood lines which are HUU clear as well as great hips, elbows and eyes. But I feel we have covered England sufficiently well; Pembroke, Norfolk, Peterborough, Leeds and Somerset, I am very glad we have been spread out and not flooded one particular place. All the puppies in Leeds are sold, Karen has a huge number of puppies booked, even before Mazy is not yet confirmed pregnant, (It's pretty obvious she is though!!!). There maybe a lot of Blitzan sired puppies out there but at least I am satisfied they are with responsible and caring breeders, who have bred for the right reasons. Plus they have bred from lovely bitch's with good health tests. So we know the puppies will have healthy happy lives. Another nice point is the puppies are all different, no repeat matings all new bloodlines and in a breed with a small gene pool that's no bad thing. Thanks to the people in the breed who have been very supportive of us, it is much appreciated.

Trevor's babies

Trevor's beautiful babies, or rather Jodie's and Darcy babies!

I have to say Trevor this one looks like a little minx! Just has that expression!!

Poor Jodie, they are at that age aren't they!!!

So cute!

Trevor has a couple of puppies still available so anyone interested get in touch!

Clarification on my health testing policy.

Now I need to clarify something, sadly it appears that there is some confusion about Blitzan's and health testing. All of the dogs I breed from are up to date with all their health tests, for example, Logi has a CURRENT clear Eye certificate as does Darcy, they are both HUU free, Darcy has a hip score of 6 and Logi's is 10 and Darcy's Elbow score is 0. All my girls are done prior to breeding from. I currently only have dogs that are free from HUU, no carriers and no affected Blitzans.
We also go one step further, all Blitzans have their pedigree's endorsed progeny not eligible for registration,  I do this so that if someone wants to breed I will only lift the restriction if all the relevant health tests are done prior to mating; The health tests must have good and correct results. There is absolutely no point what so ever breeding dogs where there is a risk of serious health problems.
I am sure all breeders feel the same, this does not make me different it just makes me as responsible as the next breeder. So if you hear my dogs aren't health tested you can now put the person straight!!! All the information is also available on the Kennel Club Web site.

Nell and Logi's babies

These beautiful babies are Jackie Chambers' pups, well three of them anyway, all sold now and gone to their new families. Aren't they just gorgeous and chunky cuddly babies, Karen I bet it makes you even more excited now Mazy is a lady in waiting!!!

Very proud Mum, Nell playing with her gorgeous son, Drago, Jackie is keeping Drago and to be honest I wish I was!!! He is just so handsome and chunky, Jackie kept him for the best of reasons, she fell in love with his personality, he is like his Daddy Logi, a big chunky softy, loves to play with his Mum but loves to cuddle too!!!!

Drago already knows his place, sitting on top of his very laid back Mum!!! Typical boy!

Three come back for a visit and make themselves at home once again!

Mummy Nell, looking so well after all  her babies, a great testament to how much work Jackie put in, taking the strain off Nell.

What gorgeous squidgy paws and the puppy breath!!! Oh god I want one!!!!!!!

Loudon and Grania, I love the picture, so cute, not sure I will get one as sweet as that but I will see what Tetra's babies are like!!!!
Can't wait until the better weather so you can come up and see us all. Have a wonderful holiday, lucky devils!!!

Mother chicken!!

Dear Ali - Great to catch up with all your news. You've clearly had quite a trying year one way and another. Thank you for getting back to us about our puppies, well not puppies any more, and I hope it all works out.
I thought this photo would appeal as we both love our dogs and chickens!!
