Well I know Munster's are different to most breeds and they never read the medical books but this is a first for me. Tetra has mastitis, she has her first and so far only season in January and didn't have any sort of a phantom, well no more than any other Munster would, and now some 4 months on she has mastitis, poor girl is very sore and now on painkillers and antibiotics, so hopefully she will get over it quickly. Relieved to know it isn't a cancerous lump but rather perplexed to have mastitis in a bitch that has never lactated. I can only assume she has had a huge knock as don't know what else to think. Anyone else ever heard of this? Would be interested to hear from you if you have.
