We have only gone on holiday in the UK with dogs, every year with Domino to various places usually in a pet friendly cottage, some nicer than others. Richard loves to take the dogs down to the coast at sunset and take some photos. Mazy had her first trip away when she was about 14 weeks old, we stayed in a Travelodge near Plymouth. That was fine for 3 nights, don't think that would be great for a two week holiday if the weather was bad, although your room gets cleaned every day. We always check websites to see if there are beaches near where we will stay for the dogs to go on. We may have to give in next year or the year after and visit my Dad in France, so we'll have to get pet passports etc then, wouldn't go without them. We have only left Domino home once and that was to visit France for a family wedding and I missed her terribly so don;t think we'll go without them again.
