Vets on the way home

Ah that's a fair point about finding the vet on the way back, Peter and I found a vet in Belgium, I asked at the hotel and they gave us an address, it went into the Sat Nav and off we went. The Vets was closed but I knocked on the door and the daughter said her Mum would be back in 1/2 an hour so we sat in the car and waited, the Vet got back and opened up for us, which was very kind, her English was quite good, thank goodness, Diva took a liking to her and the vet did think i was a bit mad to go to the lengths I did to mate Diva!!!! She also told me she had a client down the road with a very old Munsterlander. Anyway she was happy to do what I wanted, she used Bayer Adventix, (Advantix) I think and wormed Diva with Prodivet Parazan Tabs, she felt it was kinder to Diva's tummy as she had Drontal to go out with, we needed her wormed within 5 days to get her into Sweden, the only country that had special requirements, other than the UK. The vet then gave Diva some treats and sat and talked about her, all in all we were probably with her for 30 - 40 mins, as she gave Diva a thorough MOT she charge me the equivalent of £12 so I was very happy and so was Diva. I've got her details in Diva's passport and would definitely make the trip to see her again, If I go abroad with dogs again.
Anyhow I still can't believe I did it, but boy was it worth it all!!!!!!!
