Just catching up with all the post on here. The travelling abroad information has been really useful, I have never travelled with a dog myself, but with the Pet Passport Scheme it does seem more of a possibility now, but still a little complicated, I suppose you just have to make sure you have everything in place early, and the tips on here are very comprehensive.
The wedding was beautiful, we all had a lovely time, no photos as yet, but as soon as I get some will pop a couple up and bore you all, I asked a relative to take some photos, but they only managed to take a couple of the evening reception, and they turned out quite dark, but I know others were taken, and there was a professional photographer and Videographer there, but probably won't see them till Vanessa and Michael get back from honeymoon.
They went to Mauritius on Sunday morning and then are stopping off at Dubai for a few days on the way back.
Sorry to hear that Tilly has not been very well Karen, Colic can be very dangerous and extremely worrying, Grass can be a big problem for horses and Ponies and the different levels of fructas in it can be difficult to manage.
We had a pony who had Laminitis, I nursed her through it for 8 years and in the end became a bit of an expert, but the turn out period was always difficult and at some times she just had to be stabled or turned out in a dry paddock for her own good.
Is there any chance of more horses coming on the land as that may help, or perhaps some other animals, sheep, or cows even ???
Bliss, the pony we had was fine if she went in a field that had been previously grazed, and we brought her in at night with a hay net.
Some great pictures on here brilliant to see all these Munsterlanders, and Gerti certainly seems to be growing up into a lovely girl, but they are all lovely, please keep them coming, some of the expressions and antics are just priceless !!!!
Narla is doing well, she looks a picture of health, she did have a bit of sickness a few mornings but nothing serious just white froth really, which some people have said is a good sign. Her coat is glossy, she does seem to have an increased appetite, but she has always been very fond of her food, and I actually have to keep a watch on her weight especially during the show season, so I think she is going to really enjoy being pregnant, and being able to eat more !!!!
Narla will be scanned early next week, I will have a chat withe the vet this week and see what he says. On my gut instinct I will be very surprised if she has not caught, as their are definitely some subtle changes in her, so all my fingers and toes are all tightly crossed at the moment.
