Thanks for that Sharon - that's really helpful. I will go on the Defra site - I think the biggest challange would be the long drive through France and Spain. I would like to go to the North of Spain as it's prettier and slightly cooler but Frank's parents live in the south and I think that would be too hot for the dogs unless I found a villa with swimming pool that they didn't mind dogs in and air con. If we went it wouldn't be mid summer though.

Tilly seems well today thank goodness. I've not had experience of colic in horses before in the years we had them but I know it can become serious fairly quickly.
