(Ilka has a bit of horse hoof if your wondering, and the dogs had some raw venison bones the other day which they loved, Dad went stalking and shot a deer I am just hoping if they see a deer they don't think ah ha a whole one and disappear after it)
And Ilka's been after pheasants and little birds as well, she often stops to watch them before she goes after them but I have not seen her point yet, one morning a pheasant was sat in the hedge making noises as it had probably just come down from roost and she heard it and sort of stalked up to it lifting her front paws up high with most steps and when she stops to sniff the air like when they point but I could not see if she actually pointed at it because she was behind a tree at the time then it took off, she then watched it fly away then went to sniff where it had been, the only trouble was I had to go in and along the hedge to get her out again and she also visited the Field next door or should that be next gateway.
