I considered putting up photos of Kaias colour change too but she hasnt really changed until recently when she did something wierd.
From the age of 8 weeks to 14 months Kaias colour did not change at all apart from her black areas expanding a little, reducing the size of some of her white marking on her face and back. Other than that, nothing. When she was spayed at 14 months old she came home with a lovely shaved tummy and i clearly remember sitting stroking it saying to my mum 'Kaia is the only munster i've ever seen with not even one black spot on her tummy' - it was completely pink and spot free.
However a matter of just a few weeks later Kaia rolled over in front of me showing her tummy and i was heard to exclaim 'SPOTS!'.
Most munsters are born with the pigment in their skin but change coat colour as the fur takes time to grow according to the pigment. Kaia however, at the age of 14 months, had developed new black skin pigment spots, and quite a few of them. Over a few weeks she developed them all over and the black hair has started growing on it and a few new spots show up every week.
Has anyone ever heard of changing skin colour?
