Pups

Like the puppy pics, Totty is funny
Ali, now you tell us about the tigger cross he he
Ilka had a couple of cakes off the work top the other day, think she has a sweet tooth

A lovely day out

As you can see I finally went up to see the babies and photograph them, a smashing chunky litter of cuddly boys, all are gorgeous, Grampy Logi came up to view them and loved them to pieces, we quite expected Kiesha to tell him to be careful but she practically dragged him over to see them, and whilst he checked them over with a sniff and a good lick, Keisha washed Logi's ears for him, She has always been a Daddy's girl, both doggy and human Daddy!
Majik also came out to meet and greet her husband and showered him with kisses and love, I really should of got video camera out, it was lovely to see as it's been a while since we last saw the girls, when I got home my lot were really put out to have missed out on the visit, they could smell the babies and the adults and Diva was so annoyed at me she has sloped off and wont speak to me now!
As I said the babies were really cuddly just like Diva's and Jiggy's I think these Rixbriar cross Blitzans are very successful, soft cuddly babies, they all think they are from one family anyway!

I hope you like the pictures, glad to hear Ceilidh is over her tummy trouble!!!!! Fancy ate a biro when she was a baby and it perforated her stomach, she nearly died and was very lucky to make a full recovery, sometimes you need eyes in the back of your head, just like children they are into everything, and yes Elspeth and Sophie I have crossed them with Tigger's I thought it would help with those who want to do agility! ;-)

the other 4 babies

This baby is Three spot And this one wanted to do it his own way! it's an upside Totty
This is Totty the right way up
Here is the little man
And the last but not least is baby Ace

The babies

The first 4 boys, not sure if I have got the names right so if not you must tell me Judith,
Top is Smudge Next we have Bling
This is Ziggy
This is baby Troy

Hi

Poor Ceilidh, must have had lots of tigger, you should do agility in the future he he, I might just at home to keep her busy when it's not shooting season.
Congratulations on the up and coming litter!

Sophie, ours is the same. Ceilidh took a severe disliking to a few of the terrier and toy dogs so decided to rip them out! She seems to like the rest of them though. We had a terrible day with her yesterday. She stole and ate half a box of antacid tablets! Phoned the vet immediately and we got it sorted but no walks or food for her all day and she felt sorry for herself all day, lots of naps and snuggles for the poor thing. She must have gotten onto the kitchen work top to get to the shelf they were on (I was in shower so oblivious!) I think she has some tigger in her tail! She is back to normal today thankfully.

hi

Can't imagine what it would be like having a dog stolen, awful. Interesting about Lucas don't think I have ever properly seen one, like your pics and video, love the book to, ours is quite battered and held together with tape (well used) and we've had it for ages and sis was not always that careful with it grr.
Tracie don't know you but well done.
Keishas pups are so cute.
We're going on hols, not this week one after (I think), with dogs, to Eastbourne (staying at a farm) to see our Grandad, will hopefully get some pics.

Congratulations

Forgot to say love the video Elspeth, really lovely, it looks like it's as Windy with you as it is here, we are right on top of a hill with a valley out in front and boy to we get windy.

Also Congratulations to Tracie, who e mailed me to tell me Blue is going to be a daddy again down in Australia, Cindi was scanned last week and 7 puppies were seen, can't wait to see them on here as well.

Catch up

Hi everyone, thanks for the warning Trish, it's such a worry, I have a family who live in Carlisle who had a Munsterlander who was stolen, they were heartbroken, they had stopped to give him a walk in the way home form a show in a car park by a forest, from what I understand the car park was split in two and the dogs came out of the Forrest having chased some game a bit further up than the family, he was a bit disorientated and headed to the wrong end of the car park by the time the family ran over to where he was he was gone, there was a family in a nearby car who saw a couple in a camper van coax him in and drive off, I can't imagine anything worse, the never knowing how they end up must be awful, makes me shudder just thinking of it. Andrew and I have often toyed with the idea of putting up a fenced dog run off of the house so that when we are out they could come out and play, BUT what if they were spotted and someone took them, oh no too much of a risk so that's ideas a big no. The family now have one of my babies from Fancy and Logi, it doesn't fill the gap but he does help.
Anyway some lovely photo's again thank you, we have had a lovely family come over from France today to meet the dogs, they have booked a Diva baby. I am off to Bristol to see Keisha's babies in the morning, Stella is on day 15 and is oh so hot, she has taken a fancy to Tonks one of our cats who she keeps getting hold of and humping!!!!!! It must be something she has learned in Bristol!!
Anyway I will try and get those photo's sorted out this week, bear with me we are still unpacking boxes.
Hope everyone is well :-)
One last thing I have asked one of Keisha's new baby owners to join the blog so we will get to see at least one of the boys grow up on here.

Lucas terriers don't have a silky coat, they do look like it but we had one at puppy class and she was a soft wire coat but was only 5 months old so i assume it would become a harder wire as she got older. i might be wrong though. it is the same book Sophie. I love it. Especially when watching crufts.

The puppies look lovely. We have tried giving Ceilidh porridge a couple of times and she hates it!

Listen without sound to the video, it is just wind! Very strong wind!

pups are growing

The pups are growing well and have just started on the porridge, i hate this bit so messy and keisha doesn't clean them that well because she doesn't like the porridge !!!!
Ali send up leah please for cleaning duties.

Where is the spaniel

Think he was in spilt litter some his colour and some black(like mum) looking at photos were a bit diff shape and bigger. When we collected him we just saw him not others, we saw whole litter before so was odd (think the blacks grew up diff). So his dad was whatever and the blacks must have been pure cocker. She also said the sid coloureds were white when born, think if was pure cocker wouldn't have changed.
Elspheth do you have this http://www.dogtrainers.com.au/images/encyfogle.jpg if so have same. Thought same does look like Lucas, but I think there coats silkier.

Dog Nappers

That is awful news Trish. Some people in this world are just sick! At the end of the day it does not matter where you are now, you have to be careful. Gregors parents friend who breeds golden retrievers lived in the countryside near Kirriemuir (Where I grew up) it is a lovley place very farm orientated and everyone trusts everyone. She had a pup stollen from her own garden when she was in the house! She was so upset by it that she moved a few months later and only had one litter since. That was 3years ago and she is only just starting to get back into breeding again. It is just awful that people can do it.
I think Cairn Terrier is more likely Sophie, I have had a good look through the encyclopedia of the dog and we think it is the most like Sid. Or a Lucas Terrier, it comes under toy dog though not terrier strangly enough so maybe not that. Really cannot see the spanniel but from what you say it is certainly in Sids instinct when you are out!

Westie

http://www.small-breed-dogs.com/images/westie.jpg http://www1.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/1461187/1/istockphoto_1461187_bunny_westie.jpg
Pics of westies look so much like Sid, so he must be part westie.
Could be Cairn http://www.krismaimages.com/cairn.html I think used to be the same breed as westie, but white ones were bred for colour and became a breed.
Maddison is beautiful, Glad Logi is getting better, there's a girl in our village has rotated vertebrae, been in hospital for couple/few weeks, could be there for up to 2 weeks/6 months, have heard she's in pain, can hardly move as in a brace/similar, there is some thing rare about it not quite sure what but the only other case (at the mo/is known of) is in Tokyo.
Sid's been hibernating in the dog bed (the one I put pics on before) all day I think he would like to be a hedgehog.

Dognappers

I don't know if there's anyone out there who walks their dog in the Farnham, Surrey area. If so, very worringly, there appears to have been a series of attempted dognapping. A couple in their mid 30s, dark haired, he has a goatee have tried taking dogs at Frensham Ponds, Puttenham, Elstead, Bourne Woods - sadly they may have succeeded at Bourne Woods as a missing dog has yet to come home. So, if this affects anyone please take care.
On a happier note - the puppies look gorgeous - Zydo has grown so quickly over the last 9 months that it's difficult to believe he was ever that size! Glad to hear that Logi is on the mend.

Catch up

Picture of Maddison
Sorry I haven't been on here for a while, I have been struck with an awful migraine and also we have Stella with us hot in season, so busy busy.

Logi is a lot better, it turns out he had a rotated vertebrae in his neck which has caused very painful muscle spasm's spreading down to his leg and out to his shoulder, he had another session with the chiropractor today and is so much better, he is back out galloping through the fields again, it's a shame the new vets couldn't tell his muscles were locked, doesn't give me any confidence in them what so ever so for the time being I will travel back to Graham and vets I can trust.

Great pictures and posts on here I do so enjoy reading about them all, I reckon Sid has Westie in him by the shape of his head and texture of his coat.

I hope to have a quieter week this week so I will look out some more old pictures of our ancestors, give me a day or so I and will try and find my scanner!

Really looking forward to the shows starting now as we will have a few babies coming out for the first time and I can't wait to see them in the flesh, keep up the good work :-)

Hi, like the puppy video, we watched with sound and Ilka was listening to.

Sid

(Ilka's not pointing, just stood with a paw up, but still getting there)
You're right could be Norwich/Norfolk, as for the cocker bit (which, don't think theres alot of), he might have some cocker brains, he works well (retrieves pheasants, hunts well does not run on to fast) and carrys things round, puts them down and licks them as if there puppies, we got him as cocker the breeder was recomended (we got some money back, now would not buy from breeder with more than 1 or 2 breeds) although we prefer him as hes got lots of character(terrier) and a good coat for working (and cuddly).

Sid

I think their's a bit of Norwich terrier in there, somewhere not sure where the cocker is but that the joy of the cross breeds. Still think he is cuddly.

Cuddly

Funny, a while ago some one on the shoot said they just wanted to pick him up and cuddle him (I was looking at him at the time thinking he's plastered in smelly mud, he has leg length problems so gets a very muddy tummy very quickly with out even trying) can't remember who but the shoot is mainly made up of local farmers, so quite surprising he he.
Like Keisha's nick name, and I think any one would want to keep her, but I'm sure you would not let them.
And does any one have any ideas about what breed he is, his mum was a beautiful black cocker spaniel and we guess, westie dad as we saw one 0r 2 at the place but there were alot of dogs there, but his smooth ears confuse me, do westies have smooth ears?
Sophie

KEISHA

Thank you Sophie, Keisha is very beautiful and she knows it. Her nickname is Princess and she has also got afew tags on her collar they say Princess and purebred Princess. She only haves to flutter her eye lashes and she gets what she wants. On the down side we went to an open show last year and Strider won his class, Logi won his so i had to ask a man sat by the ring if he could on to Keisha for me while Ali and i where both in the ring, when I came back out and went to get her back he asked if he could keep her !!!! The answer was a very firm no.
Ilka is also beautiful and Sid just looks so cuddly

Keisha's babies

Keisha's puppies are 1 week old today, all are doing well and gaining weight nicely. Keisha is being a great mum and Jiggy has been brave enough to come into the room for a look. Love the pictures and Sid's video. Will try and see if i can do one of the puppies.

Video

Worked out how to get video on here so here is one, Sid loves tennis balls, by the way believe it or not Sid is not as fat as he looks, we took him to the vets to have him done to early (if you get what I mean) at the time we did not know that it would effect his shape, he also has a fair amount of muscle and fluffy sort of bit wiry coat which is sort of bouncy that makes him look even fatter, I know he is not exactly skinny either, his nick names include hairy fairy, diddles, coffee table and shorty. His little legs make me laugh. I did not ask him to roll over he's just crazy.

The video has no sound by the way and I will try to put a couple more older one on. and sounds like Ceilidh had fun.

Ceilidhs First Dive & Swim!

Well we thought we might lose her yesterday on our forest walk. We found a small loch and of course Ceilidh found a pair of swans and their 2 babies, they were hissing and warning her off but she was ready for diving right in to get them. We managed to avoid that thankfully. Then a few hundred yards down the path she caught sight of a moor hen and threw herself into the water after it and started swimming properly, she never got the moor hen obviously but she had great fun trying. Really wish that we had had the camera with us because her face was priceless, so full of excitement and pride!
I hope all of Keishas babies are doing well.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Well done Keisha and Jiggy! They babies are beautiful! And it is also good to hear that Logi is doing well. What exactly was wrong with him? That is awful about his neck but hopefully the chiro. will help him.
Well Ceilidh has had a busy weekend, the beach today with the Scottish munster club (not quite sure which boy it is on my left but Ceilidh is on the right). And yesterday we were up Loch Brandy near my parents. It looks like we are in the Alps or somewhere but it is just Glen Clova. Thankfully there is a hotel 15-20minutes from the top so we went in there after to warm and water the dogs (and ourselves).

Not spoilt at all

Had to add a couple of photos of the dog bed which they are relaxing in after having eaten some venison (the freezer packed up and there was some venison that had been in it for a while, was still ok just a bit old and had freezer burn)
Keisha's puppies look very cute, and I have not heard of an all boy/girl litter before.
And it's nice seeing photos of Ilka's relatives on Jiggy's side of the family as well.
Hope Logi is still getting better.
Thanks Sophie

B.C. Munsters

Hope everyone is doing well this weekend, just thought I send in a couple of pic's of Duke and Duchess. Hope Logi is well, Ali!

oops

Couldn't get my pic to go in the centre, Still give you all something to think about

Keep it in the family

Dazzle is great grand dad to Keisha's & Jiggy's puppies. The pups are doing well and gaining weight. Does anyone know of anyone else who has had a average size litter of the same sex ?

Been catching up on some of the post . I like the ones about the pups being show offs and the fact that they like to pose for pictures. Well their Mum is Diva and Dad Jiggy both of them love to be the centre of attention and have pictures taken, I think they should have been models. So it was no surprise to read about the girls with parents like that.

The family tree

Congratulations

Keisha and Judith, I look forward to seeing them in the flesh next week, Logi is a very proud Grandfather, Leah proud Granny and Tarka a very proud Great Granny!!!! I prefer boys so a litter full will be great :-)

Thanks for keeping things going Sophie, Elspeth and Joanne, the storms we had last week affected the phone lines and we couldn't get on line. Two more pictures for today to follow.

We have a busy morning as I have a McTimoney Chiropracter coming to give Logi the once over.
Bless he he is alot better but still winces around his neck, he will never be able to wear a collar again, so thanks to Elle for the lovely padded harness, it's perfect for him.

Congratulations to Keisha and her boys, she looks well and happy. All boys, that's a new one for me.

Keisha's babies

Keisha had her babies on Wednesday night. 8 strapping boys !!!! not sure if anyone has had a single sex litter before of this size. But they are beauitful and she is being a very good mum. Still also eating the tripe sticks.

Tuesday, 11 March 2008

Like the pics of Keisha, good luck (it must have been alot of tripe sticks she ate). and Ilka now owns both the sofa's.

Monday, 10 March 2008

We think Keisha ate all the tripe sticks !!!!

both taken today

Hi Elspeth

OK sorry you can't make it and it must be quite a long way for you. Yes would like to meet up, Exmoor is great but I don't know how far you would want to go from London. Ilka knows about meals too she sits looking up at the kitchen sideboard and barks until you go to feed her, we do have meal times but I also I like to give her food when ever she is hungry I think as a puppy she can have as much food as she wants. I know Diva is a diva but can't say I know her very well but Ilka often stands in the field when going for a run as if to say take a photo of me cos I am beautiful, and does a funny head slightly to one side look when she's listening to you talking or something she has not heard before. About standing I have been doing a bit to, I have her side facing me, I put one hand under her belly so she can't sit and the other hand full of little biscuits I have not gotten much further than this but I have held her tail for a short time until she moves or sits, I think next I am going to try and say stay while my hand is under her belly then remove it and build up the amount of time, don't know if this helps or if any one else has a better method. The bit about the pigs ears very funny, Ilka has had a phone charger, potatoes, sprouts, socks, slippers, paper, tea bags, TV remote (is now taped up), cardboard boxes, pens, place/diner mats off the table (that soon stopped), plastic bottles from the recycling box and used to sneak small stone's in to the house, she has great fun, although now she is nicking stuff less, but I should not say this because she will now go agaist it and find more things to nick he he.
Sophie
That information is great Sophie, unfortunately I forgot we are going to visit some of Gregors family for the weekend. Maybe next year though!!! If we come down to london at all this year I will let you know because we always go out of London so we could maybe meet somewhere for a walk? I know it seems strange to visit London but not spend any time there. My brother and sister are both down there so that is why we visit, but we prefer to venture out to the countryside it is just lovely down there. I will be showing Ceilidh, she is too stunning not to. And her personality is just like Diva! She poses all of the time as if to say "look at me, aren't I just beautiful." She does love attention and over christmas it was very difficult to try to get everyone to keep calm around her and not to fuss over her. I had spoken to everyone about what NOT to do and then my sisters parents-in-law came round to my parents and the father came straight in and was smothering Ceilidh, picking her up and making the biggest amount of fuss I have ever seen. I had to get Colin (my brother-in-law) to have a quiet word with him because it was making her very naughty. She is fine now though, apart from knowing when it is meal time and demanding to be fed. She huffs around back and forward to the kitchen for a couple of minutes and if you do not take the hint she comes up to you and stands there barking. She has also taken to sneaking into the garage to bury her head into the pig ear box! She never takes any out though, just has a good sniff and a small chew of a couple. Do you know a good way to get a dog to stand and stay? We have mastered sitting and lying but Ceilidh refuses to stand and stay. It she just sits or lies down when I say stay even though I have made her stand.

Map

Ah just clicked on the link to map and it does not show the letter J thing just write this in Google, maps: Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet, BA4 6LD and it's letter A in blue. and Just to add family are getting a lot better at waiting until she has calmed down.

Sunday, 9 March 2008

Hi Elspeth

Thanks for advice, I do take her straight out when ever we get home or if she has been in her cage (even if only been in it for 5m), before she says hello, I tell any one near me on the way not to stroke her and then she does not wee but can still be excited.
It's just a bit difficult to keep telling parents and little Sis to ignore her until she has calmed down. She comes up to them even if they have been in the same room for 1/2 an hour or more a bit excited, this could be that she is used to getting attention when she is excited so has been almost taught to be, to get attention.
She is less excited with me and jumps up a lot less at me, this could be because I try not to encourage the excitement and do not let her jump up (they don't either but some times they talk and use hands to much so she sees it as getting attention) I also try not to get to annoyed, where as for example my little sister can get excited or very annoyed. Any way she is getting better and has not weeed from excitement for a while.
About the game fair http://www.basc.org.uk/content/west_country_game_fair here is a link it's at the Royal Bath and West Show ground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset here's a map red letter J thing you will see what I mean http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl It's on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th found this as well http://www.somersetcountygazette.co.uk/whatson/sgwhatsonlatest/display.var.1947257.0.westcountry_game_fair_the_ultimate_countryside_experience.php Love to see you and Ceilidh (Ilka would defiantly like to see her) And I would like to show her I am thinking about doing ring craft classes even if I don't show her, it would be interesting to find out a bit more about showing, I used to show my pony but did not do that well. But going to work her on our local shoot. Are you going to show Ceilidh I think she is lovely, looks alot like Ilka, well she probably would being from the same litter he he.
Thanks again. And Good Luck Keisha
Sophie
Well we take Ceilidh straight outside when we have left her at home. That way she gets made to go to the toliet before we say hello. As for people visiting, she has never gone then through excitement. Most of our familys say hello to us first though then to her. They just figure that way she knows not to get excited and to wait her turn. I have to admit we socialised Ceilidh well because in her first week with us there were 3 different people staying with us throughout the week and then it was christmas.
I did think it was very strange that the people at the classes are still having problems. One of them is in the house all the time and the pup still goes in the house!
What exactly is the country fair? Where is it and when? I know we are in Scotland but we love that kind of thing.
Are you going to show Ilka? She is just lovely.

West country game fair

Is any one going to the westcountry game fair next weekend? we are and Sid and Ilka
Ali I hope Logi is ok.
Thanks
Sophie

Hi

I think the sofa is shrinking
Sid with a Frisbee on his head
Well done Blitzans.
We've been watching crufts I thought the munster having a relaxing lie down in the ring was funny on Friday, yesterday I don't know how the st Bernard got BOB he was lame poor dog
and I did not like the look of the German shepherd I don't like the 'crouching show' look and it's back legs looked a bit wobbly to me, I also do not like dogs bred to have very short faces I think it in some ways is cruel to breed them like it as they can have breathing probs, just my opinion.
Hi Elspeth our toilet training has gone very well it is very rare she does any thing in the house and I don't think she has done anything more than weed in the house since shes been here although she might have once or twice can't remember.
But some times she wees from excitement this is getting better and she does this less now but I think it's because she is not socialised well enough yet so I am going to have a look for puppy classes.
The other cause might be that the rest of my family often make a fuss of her and with exciting voices when she is over excited (because she wants to say hello) so rewarding her for the excitement. I normally wait until she is calmer or try to calm her then make a fuss or her, and have been trying to convert the rest of my family to do this, their getting there. I still want her to be happy and say hello just a bit calmer and I know she still a puppy and may well grow out of it but am I doing the right thing?
I have heard that making a fuss of dogs when you first come in to the room there in when you have been out for a while can cause a bit of separation anxiety because there waiting for you to come home a make a big fuss of them rather than it not being a big deal because your just going to come in and act as if you've been there the whole time. I am right about this or not?

B.C. Munsters

Congratulations to all the Blitzans, you must be thrilled Ali. I only wish we could watch the dog show here in Canada. Hope Logi is doing better, what exactly happened to him? Was it the gravel driveway? My dogs feet are well conditioined I guess, they tear up a mountainside and then come straight back down through shale and rocks and have never had a problem, guess they have tough feet for our terrain, except for the odd cactus they find which has to be pulled out. But they have learned to just stop and wait for us to rescue them or they wind up with it in their mouths too. I had the dogs at the vet last week for their yearly shots and my vet said he has never seen 3 dogs in finer shape, all their weights are perfect and the muscle especially in Duchess is great. She is our little billy goat, we cant keep her off the mountain by our house. It all starts with wonderful breeding then it only takes exercise and a proper diet and alot of love!

Get Well Soon Logi!

Poor Logi, we all send bigs hugs to him and get well wishes. Missing Crufts this year means that you will have to take it by storm next year. We found a new bit of the Devilla forest today and Ceilidh loved it! She could smell dear but we didn't see any and all the birds were in the trees much to her disgust. Next weekend we are visiting my parents so we will take her up the glens in there area. They are full of wildlife for her to chase!

The last K9 is out now so she is feeling much better. Thank goodness!!!

James your website looks great, it must have taken you a long time to make. I still need to look at Sophies but I will do that now. Gregor wants to try and make our own one for Ceilidh so we might give that a try.

How is everyone getting on with toilet training? It is just that a few of the people we were talking to at her classes were asking and they are still having a lot of problems. Ceilidh is a dream, she does have the odd accident when we visit family and it is a new house but after being let out a couple of times she knows where to go. I just thought it was strange that they were still having problems when they are both older than Ceilidh. Anyway I had better go and give the scrumptious girl her afternoon walk she is hanging around the back door and pacing about in a huff. Congratulations to all those who were at crufts and good luck Keisha!

Picture pedigree continues

Champion Axel von Esterfeld of Raycris
Champion Ester Von Buschausen

Both in all my pedigree's, more dogs to follow

Through the worst of it....

Thank God Logi is through the worst of it, we really thought we may loose him, he was in awful pain, but bless him he is on the mend now, no thanks to the new Vets we tried.
He needed his Mum and there was no way I could leave him so that was the end of Crufts for us, Judith didn't make it either as Keisha is due to whelp this week and what with Logi being ill she and Tony decided it was best not to go and stay home with KiKi.
BUT I still had a good day, the Best of Breed winner is a Blitzan Grandson, his Dad is Blitzan Ragamuffin, 4 of Log's kids were there, two won 1st and two won 2nd, another Blitzan son won Junior dog and another Blitzan girl won a 2nd, so depsite us not being there my kennel did extremely well, we know the judge loves Logi, so we're not too disappointed at the end of the day it would all mean nothing if we didn't have our boy Logi.
Thanks to everyone who sent get well wishes to him and for all the supportive phone calls it's lovely to know how love my boy is by so many.
Well done to all the winners at Crufts, we shall be back next year!

Thanks Sophie.

Hi

Hi James my Mum must have hidden the pic of Quanter some where as I can't find it I will ask her where it is when she gets home, any way I have started to do a website nothing on it yet and it's all a bit black and white you will see what I mean, but I seem to have a fox flying round the screen here it is http://www.geocities.com/sf.ilka/ thanks for the offer of help from Ali I might need it but don't know yet, so I will see how I go first.
And sorry to hear about Logi and that you could not get to crufts.

Thanks Sophie I'd love to see a drawing you've done.
My mum builds websites she could help build yours if you want.
Unfortuneatley Logi was ill and we couldn't get to crufts, he is a bit better but not quite right.

Hi James

I think the website is great even though some photos did not come up and I like the ducks on the water :) Believe it or not a couple of days ago I was thinking of doing a website for Ilka and putting photos and drawings of her and other animals on it, I will try and find the drawing I did for my Dad of Quanter my Dads old GSP who had to be put down a couple of years ago :( and I have started to draw a pic of Ilka although I have not drawn properly for a while so it might be a while until I finish it.
And good luck James with Prima and Lana.

Website

Hey everyone I've just made a website the address is www.geocities.com/juniorblitzan/
I just need to change a few pics so that they all show up. Hope you all like it:-)

Hi,

we're going to Crufts, I'm really looking forward to showing Lana and Prima.

I'm publishing my website ,that I made over the week, later I'll give you the address once it's up and published.

Cheer James and Lana on too.

This is James, handling Lana, (and qualifying her for Crufts) at National Gundog last year. Hopefully, James will be handling Lana tomorrow, in the Good Citizen Class. So - thanks James!!

Blitzan Truly Dazzling

Thanks for messages about Ilka, we think Ilka is 'Truly Dazzling' and every one we know thinks she is beautiful.
Good luck for crufts Ali and hope Logi is ok and good Luck to every one else who is going, we will be watching on the tv and I hope they show some munsters on there I think we can press the red button so I will see if we can watch the gun dogs more, and I like the family photos Ali, next year we will go to crufts.
By the way Ilka's banana toy and her bit of blanket have not been touched by Sid I think he knows there hers even though every other toy he thinks is his or are shared, he also never goes in her cage that she sleeps in at night even though it used to be his and the door of it is left open all day so she can go in when she likes.
Having issues with a cat at the mo he follows me when ever I take the dogs down the Field then sits in the hedge as if to say I am only licking my paws not causing any trouble and is all ways sat some where to wind the dogs up, I think he does it on purpose, photo of the of the cat (Skitkit) he is not bothered by dogs in any way, but our other cat is not to bright Jack some times headbutts Sid then realises hes a dog then hisses and runs off.Sophie and Ilka

GOOD LUCK!!!

Good luck everyone at crufts and fingers crossed for Logi! We will be watching with anticipation. Registered on the crufts website to get all of the updates and I will be checking all results as soon as they come out. I really hope the dogs feet get better Ali. The poor things will hate it. Ceilidh has found her voice now, an is letting everyopne know it! Puppy class was great last night she is doing really well. I think we will be starting ring craft in the next couple of weeks along with another dog from her normal classes so fingers crossed she does it well. I am sure she will because she loves the praise she gets for doing something well.
Any way, good luck again everyone and have fun!

Elspeth, Gregor & Ceilidh xx

Blitzan Rhapsody and Blitzan Leahs Stunner JW

Another two for the family tree

At the top we have a young Leah, (She is now 10 years old), Blitzan Rhapsody, Granny to Duke and Mother to Duchess, I think that's the right way round ;-)
Below is Diva, believe it or not she is sister to Duchess, and also mother to Ilka, Ceilidh, Stan, Yetti in fact all the 'Truly litter'. Both are not going to Crufts this year, as Diva is still growing her coat back after the puppies and Leah is retired with grace!
