HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to all of the Eternal babies and all who have been doing well at the shows!
Sharon that is great that Brodie travelled so well, and recalled to you when you saw the snake, that would have been awful as lyns said. Lovely pics too.
Lyns, so sorry to hear about Ghillie, i am by no means judging your vet not to be a good vet with what I am about to say but it a more country style vet or a city one? It can make a huge difference as an old friend used a city one but they had not managed to diagnose what was wrong for 8 months so eventuakky she took her dog to a different vet and they took no time at all, asked to keep the dog for a couple of tests and diagnosed it that day. I think certain things are more common in the country and that is possibly why. He may be slim but at least he is happy in himself.
How is Narla getting on Sandra?
If I have missed anything I am terribly sorry, I ahve been on over load the last few days so my head is complete mince. Got today off though and friday I am that ahead with my work so it has been worth it.
Had a terrible experience on our walk last night. I tend to put Ceilidh on a halti when going to busy parks etc to have that extra bit of control. There was a man with 5 little dogs all yapping and growling from a distance at her and winding her up. As we got closer one of them must have done something to upset her as she dived in their dorection toppling me and herself as I didn't let go of the lead. The guy came over to see that we were ok (bearing in mind his dogs had been sounding quite viscious) and a few of them started on her! She stood back barking and growling but I just jumped up and walked off with her. Honestly though, it was because of his dogs behaviour that it happened in the first place why on earth would it have been a good idea to come so close when it was obvious they were going to start on her? He didnt even pull them off! She is fine though, and as we got to the car the same little dogs were doing the same to another dog whose owner had to pick it up to keep it safe! If I ever see that man again I am going to be having some serious words. On a happier note on the same walk we met a lovely black lab pup who went to his owners at 12 weeks. He was a shy wee thing and they asked if Ceilidh was friendly, which she is with all dogs that dont want to attack her. So we let them off together and being off the lead seemed to help him interact more. I did say to the woman leads can be a hinderance and can also make dogs more agressive towards others too. Poor wee soul was so nervous, had obviously not been sociaslised well before they got him.
