Welcome

Hi Sandra and Dave, now that feels really weird, as I am also called Sandra and my husband is also called Dave. The coincidences don't end there, Narla's shown name is Sh Ch Jaudas Bella, and I have a Springer Spaniel (Morgan) and up to a couple of years ago we used to have horses as well.
Very warm welcome to you both, can't wait to see the photos of Jack, Bella and the Horses.

Tessa, glad the abscess has been sorted now, and that it can all heal, yes those grass seeds can be awful when they get into awkward places.
I have had similar problems with blackthorn bushes in the past, and sometimes the thorns can be quite fine and difficult to see, or they break of leaving the end in the flesh. But the way these dogs just go flying through bushes it is no wonder they pick up the odd thing.

Congratulations on the Australian Award Ali, so nice to hear of a dog doing well in another country, especially considering he had some bad luck in his early life. Nice to hear that he has settled with an owner who understands him, and is now reaping the rewards.
