Anal glands, I do all of mine except for Logi's as his are too deep for me to manage, I think some that have a predisposition to it,no matter what diet they are on. My old Collie Tosca had terrible glands I wont revolt you withwhat they were like when emptying lets just say cream cheese ughh, but she never had an op. Do know of others who have had thier dogs operated on with great results, so no negative stories for you to fret over.
