Thanks everyone for all the congratulatory messages, Narla and her babies are all doing well.
Hope Evie is getting over her operation now Tessa and that you get a good result on the biopsy.
I remember when we had Morgan spayed she is nine now, but as a puppy she used to do the wall of death round the living room, round about 7 pm every night, it made you dizzy just to watch her !!!
She was a very lively puppy and trying to keep her quiet was an impossibility, she used to leap from one couch to another.
I was really worried about her stitches, as they did swell a little and when we went back to the vet she had to keep them in a few days longer, but after that she was fine.
So don't worry too much, I know when Narla had a bad cut to her foot the vet knocked the pain killers off after a couple of days, the idea being that a dog will tend to self regulate itself, if they feel pain they will naturally tend to be a bit more cautious, whilst none of us would want an animal to be in pain, sometimes it is necessary to help the healing process, and get the dog to slow down.
If they are pain free they can end up hurting themselves more as they can't feel the wound area.
Sure once Evie get her stitches out she will be as right as rain in no time.
