Going to bath him in a mo with his antibac shampoo aparently he shouldn't have his advotic untill a couple of days after that and i can't shampoo him again for a couple of days after that either. Spoke to the Vet and he says to see how the rash is in
Will ring skinners and try the other food. Although he has always been on the same food and the rash cleared up in the beginning and then got worse again.
Hudson bites at clothes a lot too, Elspeth when you say get people to greet you first and then greet him when he is calm would you have him in another room to do this?? Huds just runs up to people and won't let go of the trousers at all. We are still having quite a bit of trouble with the nipping too.
Its quite hard in the day when the children want to play he wants to eat everything they have out and i feel like i am always telling him off or having to separate him, which is a shame as i want the kids to be able to enjoy him. I know the chewing will last a while yet but will this ease up soon??
Don't i sounds like a moaner! On a positive note we start training tommorrow night I am looking forward to it and will report back on his behaviour, at least he has now met a few other dogs out on his walks so it won't be completley new to him.
Ooh another question while i am at it! Does anyone use a halti? Hudson really pulls on the lead, should i persevere with the lead for a while first?
Love the pictures of Ilka she does look fit the action photos are great. Fantastic recall with maggie too we have been using a whistle to tell hudson when his dinner is ready in the hope that this will condition him for recalling to the whistle. we can but try!
