Hi Zoe,
Hope the shampoo works - that rash does look sore but I'm sure it will go away as fast as it came. It must be hard work with young children and a puppy but at least puppies grow up faster than children. I had Tilly my Cavy when my children were all small and even that was hard work so I'm sure it is harder with a Munster but it passes very quickly and everything settles into a pattern.
I have tried a halti on Maggie. I have to say I didn't like it, or should I say Maggie didn't like it. She wasn't too bad and it was definately easier to hold her but didn't like it because it rode up into her eyes and looked uncomfortable. I now use a Lupi Harness when I'm doing a lot of lead walking. I feel she is comfortable in it and she is easier to hold. I found with half check collars she seemed to half choke herself and made me feel uncomfortable. It's good to try lots of different things on them when they are little as they seem to accept it better when they are grown up. Maggie is very patient now about putting on her harness. I was with a lady the other day who was having a job just clipping a lead onto her Springer and she commented on how good Maggie was standing still and even lifting her legs up for me to put the harness on )lol! She still pulls like a steam train though - I really need to get this sorted before I have two of them - otherwise I might break the sound barrier while taking them out!!
Lovely pictures of Ilka, Sophie. Beautiful head shots - she is very pretty! What camera have you got. And what do you do to get them to go large when you click on them - it's driving me crazy!
