Sophie I am sure Ellie has steered you right, the top wonder is over extended but I wonder if Ilka is stiffening her back legs try bending her leg and lifting it up before you place her hock BUT also you are doing very well, don't worry it will be easier at a show amongst other dogs and people because for 1 we will all beable to help and advise if you need or want and for 2 you can compare techniques from other handlers and see what others do. You are doing fine I am really looking forward to see you at National Gundog and Paignton.
