Tarka, the Grand old lady of the family, now 13 years old she still comes out and runs with the youngsters, always one to pace herself she is still enjoying the odd days shooting. Her nick names include, Bella as she is a genuinely beautiful girl. Tarka is such a special lady, she has never been told off as she has never done anything wrong, she is Great Great Granny to our youngest, Stella and long may she continue her reign at the top, one in a million. A fantastic ambassador for the breed, who views showing as a social occasion not to run around the ring, (that's boring to her) but she does love to go to shows to meet and greet all the other Munsterlanders and owners.

Always prim and proper she hates Andrew or any man for that matter checking her back end for anything. I have Tarka when I was pregnant and since

then she has never jumped up at me of anyone. She really is my girl, so respectful and unassuming, not bothered by walks at the moments she would much rather come out for a trip in the car instead. Bed time she is always nagging me to go to bed she can start mithering as early as 9pm the thing is she wont go to be without me.

Mum to Leah, Solo, Dylan and Zeb as well as 8 others she never took to motherhood, don't get me wrong she was a good mum but she did have a tough time and was quite ill so that's why only the one litter from her. She is still top dog but rules the roost with a 'look' if someone is pushing the boundaries she just stands and stares they always end up apologising and scurrying away, she has never had to follow it through the 'look' or the 'Tarka eye' has always been sufficient!

Nearly forgot there is one thing she has to do every morning without fail and that's her morning bath, she goes out does what she needs to do and then finds the dampest grass and rolls, every morning without fail, she come back in wet and dishevelled.

As you can probably tell Tarka is such a special girl, one in a million and never naughty she has a huge chunk of my heart and I know the feeling is mutual.
