We got our LMC membership today - thanks Ali. Brodie has already ate the "Club Rules" and "Living with your Munsterlander" :( That's the 2nd time this week he's run off with paper, so we need to find a higher place to put our letters! Thankfully he left me the newsletter!
Brodie got really excited when he saw the video of Ilka trying to get down the stairs. I've never seen him so intent on watching a video/tv like that before. She looks beautiful. Am I right in thinking Ilka and Ceilidh are sisters from the same litter?
We were at the vets today picking up his pet passport. Thankfully his first rabies vaccine was succesful (seemingly a reasonable % of them fail first time). We also have a place in France so that's the reason for the passport. Unfortunately France now request an annual rabies vaccine even though the vaccine lasts 3 years.
Welcome Lins. We're up in Scotland, only 30 mins away from Elspeth and Gregor. We're really lucky to have a great forest half way between our homes. Elspeth's Ceilidh and our Brodie get on well together. Brodie is only 4 months and our first munster (and my first dog). The other Lindsey also stays about 30 minutes from the same forest and we met with her a few weeks ago, along with her husband and 2 of her collies. It is really nice to see all the dogs enjoying playing/running together. I hope you manage to meet up with some other munsters soon.
Karen, you asked a while back about Brodie's weight - I weighed Brodie today when I was at the vets for his passport and he's now just over 20 kg. He's been going through a "filling-out" out phase over the last few weeks. I'd thought 30 kg was the average for fully grown munster dogs but I could be wrong.
We're off to an HPR event this Sunday so hopefully the weather will be reasonable. Weatherwise we've been really lucky this year, sounds like it's been Scotland's turn to get the sunshine :) We've no idea what to expect at the HPR event but looking forward to it all the same.
Your snake looks very colourful Judith - Jovi is an unusual name - I wonder where that came from?.... as if I can't guess!!
