Lins, my dad lives in lower Normandy, we've yet to visit them, but perhaps we should do the pet passport thing and go over. They're only an hour or so from the ferry and they have quite a bit of land. He's English but moved out there with his partner several years ago. Reading about your trips makes it sound lovely.
