What a clever girl Maggie is!! It is such a scarey thig to happen. I remember when I was young and my parents last dog ran away. I had gotten him home from the walk and took his collar off as I opened the door as we always did and had never had a problem. He had obviously smelt a girl in season because he turned and bolted right down our street and accross the main road down to the usual forrest we walked him in. It took nearly an hour to find him!
I bet Maggie had the best time chasing the deer though and will be enjoying a lot of cuddles this afternoon!
Sharon, we must organise a walk soon. What about the weekend after next , I think it is the 26th and 27th? What about trying somewhere new? Any suggestions?
Well Gregor is not going to come for National gundog now, the flights are at silly times so he is just going to give it a miss. I think my sister is interested in coming though.

Ceilidh was awful last night, 4 hours straight of crying for a boy!!! And a boy cried back for most of that time!
