Be vigilant please, far to close to home

A gundog kennels, west of Andover in Hampshire, were broken into on Friday 4 September at around 2:00 a.m. and four dogs, all spaniels, were stolen. The thieves unbolted the metal panels of the kennels to gain access. All the other dogs were let loose. The approach was made across the fields so they must have known that the main track through to the Lodge was covered by CCTV.

It is believed the thieves had carried out two other raids in Wiltshire that night. It is suspected that the dogs were stolen to order and will be moved on very quickly. Would shooting people please keep an ear to the ground for guns, beaters or pickers-up who have recently acquired an unexplained well-trained spaniel. A substantial reward is offered for their return. Any information to: 01264 889467 or 0797 1160156 or email howard@lainsshootingschool.co.uk
