Hello everyone, I'm Stephanie (Steph), my husband is Neil and our son is Max (7 at the moment - 8 next month!). We live in Stockport, Cheshire. We don't have a Munster in our family - yet - we are excitedly counting down the days and hours until Narla gives birth. You would not believe how excited we are! We were very pleased when Sandra told us that she had chosen Logi as the father - he is a great dog and a really good ambassador for the breed. I have been following the Blog now for about 5 or 6 months and have found it very helpful indeed. All the stories and pictures of your Munsters are fascinating - it has been great to see the Blitzan puppies grow up over the past few months and read all your stories on their characteristics and habits, etc. We think we know what we are letting ourselves in for!! (the pictures of James and Summer covered in mud springs to mind!)
We have been researching the breed by any means possible and we did go to the Leeds show a few months ago as we wanted to introduce Max to more Munsters - up until then he had only met Narla who he thought was gorgeous! We saw lots and lots of Munsters at Leeds and had a really good day out. All the dogs we saw were lovely - such a variety of markings making each one individual. We had hope to meet Ali and some of the Blitzans, but unfortuantely she was unable to make the show.
We are now busy making our home ready for the new puppy and have decided that we will be getting a cage for him/her to use in the house as a kind of den. Max has ben very enthusiastic and has insisted we buy toys so the new puppy will have plenty to play with.
It was great to see the photographs of Taluhla's puppies on the blog and we can't wait to see more - I expect they have really grown in the past week!
