These are some of the more fun photos we took over the weekend. I am sorry you all seem to have rotten weather, for once in a blue moon Scotland actually has had a weekend of sunshine, its lovely. We were up visiting my parents over the weekend and Ceilidh had a lovely time. Near caught 4 dear in one of the fields! Even when she came back she could smell them and was desperate to find them again, such good instincts.
A BIG welldone to Diva and Jasper for doing so well at Bath. Wonderful pictures from everyone again!!! Alex looks lovely! Who owns him Ali? I know he doesn't show now but it would be good to meet him. So looking forward to a Prima x Alex boy! Ceilidh would desperately like a friend that would play back! Paddy just drops a toy when she gets close to him, he even leaves food bowls and water bowls when she goes to sniff them. You would think she was a bully, but it is just that he is so shy with dogs, he is still getting used to her and her larger than life attitude, bless him. He is a lap dog really. The woman that bred him was quite old and had not bred for a long time so each puppy in his litter (of 4) was given special cuddle time each day which in turn has made him a bit more of a lap dog than a proper spanniel.
We now have a quiet week ahead thankfully, the last 2 weeks have been a bit mad. A week today we have all of Gregors familys dogs to look after for the day as they are all up to Fraserburgh (hours and hours away north) for a Mini show.(Gregors sister and brother in law have 6 or 7 minis and are fanatical about them) So we are planning either a trip to the beach or to a huge forrest which I am looking forward to.
Sophie, Ceilidh doesn't like men going into her mouth much, but we are just doing lots and lots of practice, getting other men that are at classes with their own dogs to look over her and not just the people who run the classes. It is really starting to make a difference. You should ask everyone else to have a shot at going over her aswell at the classes you go to. It just gives her more practice and gets her used to it. Maybe give the man who gave her a fright a miss for a while, you don't want him to scare her again.
