Bits n' Bobs

Hi Karen, sorry to hear about your cavalier, I think maybe the anal gland problem does get worse if they are susceptible. Jess has had problems for about the last 5 years but the frequency with which we have to have them done has certainly increased over time. My vet does seem to think that it would improve her quality of life. She told me she did the op on a much older dog and it improved so much that she wished she had advised owners to do it when the dog was younger. Apparently it is quite a tricky op and obviously the aftercare is very important because of where the op site is. I am really dithering as I so want to be sure what I do is right for her. She might be 11 1/2 but she is still my baby-dog.
Judith - I love your piccies that is a def. one for the scrap book. It was really nice to meet you at Border, it was such a shame we didn't have more time to chat.
Elspeth, your slides are great, you will have to explain how you do it when I see you; I hate to admit that I still consider myself to be barely computer literate and still haven't managed to download and edit any of my photos.
All for now,
Lindsey
